What's Wrong With Milkshakes?

Part 19

I stop crying for a moment.
"Come...With you?" I ask him.
"Yes. I need you Lexi," he says to me. I can see the hurt in his eyes, him begging me to come with him.
"Perri. What about uni and work?" I ask him. I honestly don't know what to think - first he asks me to be his girlfriend and then he tells me to come with him on the rest of his tour. What about the rest of Diversity? won't they care if a girl they've never met is joining them on the rest of their tour, just to be with Perri? But at the same time, I want to go with him. I want to get to know him properly. I want to see him every day and kiss him the way we kissed last night. He's the dream, the dream I wish would come true, the dream that means everything to me, the dream that isn't real. He's a celebrity, he's not a normal person, no matter how hard he tries to fit in, he will always be Perri Kiely, the little kid with the big afro.
"They can wait. I can't" Perri says to me. The persuasion is working. I just need to sort out the logistics of all this - can I get off work and uni? will my parents mind? Work and uni shouldn't be too much of an issue, it's my parents. They're protective, they won't let me run off with a guy they've never met, let alone a famous dancer! if I can persuade them, then hopefully I'll be able to spend time with Perri. I keep thinking about all of this while Perri is running around the hotel room trying to find some clothes to wear for rehearsals, which he's already 10 minutes late for. Hopefully Ashley won't mind though. I turn round and look at Perri, who's stood there, shirtless, looking at himself in the mirror. his body is too good to be true. he's too good to be true.
"Lexi? Come with me?" Perri asks impatiently, forcing me to take my eyes off of his body and look at his face instead. not that I'm complaining, his face is pretty gorgeous as well.

"I'll come with you." I say, "But you'll have to meet my parents first"
