Jack P.O.V
"Jack" y/n said with tears in her eyes
"Babygirl?" I said shooting up out of my chair "what's wrong?"
"I-I" she started sobbing just trying to get the words out
"Baby whatever it is you can tell me"
"I'm bleeding I-I think I'm having a miscarriage" she sobbed
"Y/N we have to go to the hospital" I grabbed the key and her hand and pulled her out the door
*at the hospital*
"Jack I'm scared" she whispered while we waited for the doctor to come into the room
"I know babygirl I'm scared too"
"What- what if we lose the baby?" She asked quietly
"I will be here for you through it all we've been through hell and back before and we will do it again if we have too. Regardless of what happens here today I love you and we will get through this together" I said as the doctor walked in with a somber look on her face
"Miss Y/N I'm so sorry to have to break this news to you but the baby has no heartbeat" y/n just looked at me and burst into tears "I'll leave you two alone"
"Jack I'm sorry" she sobbed into my shoulder
"Y/N you have nothing to be sorry for this wasn't you're fault"
"Our baby, Jack our baby is gone" she said between sobs
"I Love you babygirl" were the only words I could get out of my mouth before I started bawling
"Jack?" She looked up at me sadly
"Yes babygirl?"
"What if this was my fault? What if I did something wrong?"
"Babygirl this was not your fault in anyway there was nothing you could have done to prevent this okay?"
"Okay..." she looked down at her feet sadly putting her hand on her stomach "our baby was in there Jack we were gonna have a little baby"
"I know baby girl"
"My heart is shattered Jack"
"I know, but overtime we can pick up the shards and I'll glue it back together for you" I said smiling sadly
"I love you Jack" she leaned up to kiss my lips
I took my hat off and put it on her head it always makes her smile at least a little when I let her wear it and you know I really love someone when I let them wear my damn hat.
Y/N P.O.V
I sit here staring at the wall wondering why it happened to me, what I could have possibly done wrong for this to happen
"Babygirl please talk to me"
"Jack why did this happen to us? What did we do to deserve losing our baby?"
"Y/n/n we couldn't have prevented this"
"Why couldn't it be me why did it have to be my baby?"
"Y/N please don't think like that I fucking need you"
"Stop lying you'd be better off without me" He grabbed my face and forced me to look at him
"Don't you dare fucking say that, I don't know how I ever lived without you granted I didn't for long considering we've been friends since we were 8" I chuckled slightly "I need you Adam and Ryan need you babygirl who the hell else would mediate our stupid fucking arguments? I love you Adam and Ryan love you we all need you baby and my mom would be pissed if I let anything happen to you" I just sighed heavily and buried my head in my hands "baby I'll be right back I've gotta make a few phone calls"
