"What you do not wish for yourself,
Do not do to others.""Liquan, I'm really sorry. It's not my fault though, it's an accident."
Liquan mentally frown at the girl, Lifen- the one who accidentally step on her ankle. She kept her emotion in check.
"No need to apologise. It's an accident." Her voice was calm and distant. She doesn't want further drama. She just came in to watch the practice and she'd be more than happy if wouldn't try to talk to her about the incident. She's afraid she'd snapped at them.
"You can sit at the corner. Lifen, back to your place."
"Yes, Ms. Mandy." Lifen give her yet another apologetic smile before going away.
"Thank you, Ms. Mandy. Sorry for the trouble." She said.
"No, it's okay. I hope your alright." Mandy said, concerned.
"No worries. Tomorrow I'll be good as new." She chuckled and mumbled her bye.
Liquan definitely feel jealous of others. Mandy is able to guide them, on her case, it will be just her all on her own. She wouldn't cause Mandy more trouble.
"Okay! Back to position. Don't mind Liquan at the corner. Pay focus on me. Clear?!" Mandy yelled, clapping her hands repeatedly.
"Yes, Ms. Mandy!"
Adrenaline rush over her being. Sadly, she couldn't even move her ankle that much. She unconsciously flinched in remembrance of the incident. Now she doesn't know anymore. Was misfortune following her? is someone cursing her? Is this the consequence the almighty has given her for going away from her home? If this continue to happen then what will she do? She breaks out in a cold sweat. What if fate don't want her here?
She came early to practice, if anything she's being punctual. Next, she does her routine, then accident happen. If it's not unfortunate enough, she doesn't know what is. She recalled the incident-- she's actually doing just fine, right? Her blood turns cold when she remembers how she bowed to pain and bellowed.
"A penny for your thoughts?" She flinched- startled.
"Mr. Chan, I did not notice you come. I'm sorry,"
He sat on the floor by her.
"I could say." She nodded, averting her eyes to the group.
"You're very stubborn for a child."
He nonchalantly commented. His laugh makes her blush in embarrassment.
"Isn't being stubborn one of child's distinct trait, Mr. Chan?"
She lowly answered. Avoiding creating noise that may disturb the dancing group.
"Yes, one thing he couldn't understand." He mumbled.
"I don't quite get what you mean." She politely said.
"Mr. Lee, he couldn't quite understand how stubborn can a child get."
She involuntary frown, and she almost groan hearing his name.
"He doesn't need to understand me. Please, I beg your understanding, I don't really want to talk about Mr. Lee right now."
The feeling is mutual. She really doesn't get how he care that much about her one moment, then get all angry and frustrated. It's not as if she asked him to look after her.
"No offense taken. He's not hard to understand though, if you try. For all my life, Mr. Lee is the only person I can easily understand. He's very simple. I'll be taking my leave. Please take time to rest, don't need to push harder."
