"You can't keep a clean reputation
hanging out with messy person."

"This is Dit da jow. It's made by my mother. Don't worry, it's effective. My ankle's getting better." Changying looks at the small bottle- probably 100 ml. It has no label written on the outside.

"I don't know how to face you after this." She sniffs. She feels tears forming and her eyes getting warmer.

"You can wear a mask or something, to make it easy for you. No?" They laughed loudly. Changying clears her throat.

"Thank you,"

"You can't just thanked me with words. No one accepts words anymore." Liquan teased her.

They are in Liquan group's room. The girls are out, probably working out or something. After their dramatic encounter in the garden, Liquan led them to get an ointment for Changying's bruises.

"Can I drink this?" Changying help up the bottle.

"You don't know Dit da jow?" Liquan stifled a laugh.

"No," Changying muttered. Her face turned slightly pink in embarrassment.

"Well, that's a shame. It's quite famous. By the way, no. You can't drink it. It's an ointment. I have pills for you. It's for bruises too. Don't worry, I'm not going to let you pay for it. Take it as a friendly gift."

Changying can only nod. It's hard to argue with Liquan. She can never win, knowing how persistent and persuasive she can get.

"I can't thank you enough. We've already missed the practice, haven't we?"

"Go back to your room and rest. I'll cover for you." Liquan said. She took her by the arm and went out their room.

"How could I let you do that? No way, I'm not letting you do that." Changying disagreed. She's not putting her in more trouble.

"You'll just get us in trouble if you're going there. Trust me, I can do it. I'll cover for you, okay. To give you a heads up. Don't answer questions. If you can shake them off, just tell them you got sick. Which partially true. Are we on the same page?"

Changying jaw went agape. She nodded anyway.

"I'm not getting you in trouble, right?" Changying wants to clarify.

"No. Just rest in your room. Also, drink the pill and apply the ointment."

Liquan left her in the hallway and run off.

"Well, got yourself a new friend." She turned around.

"Huian..." She chokes on her own voice.

"Why aren't you in practice?" Huian touches and traces her face. Changying hissed when Huisn poked her wounded lip.

"What are you doing?" Changying shakes in fear.

Huian took a step back away from her. Her throaty laughs make Changying blood runs cold.

"Nothing. Just admiring my artwork." Huian smirked.

"You got what you wanted. Let me go." Changying beg. She hides the bottle and the pill behind her.

"Never! Not until I've truly get what I wanted. You know what I want, Ying."

"That's bullsh*t!" Changying cussed. All she wants now is to spit at Huian face to show her how disgusted she is to her.

"You don't get to speak to me like that!" Huian snapped.

Changying closed her eyes almost immediately, thinking Huian will slap her.
