"I am not responsible of your own understanding."
"Ah... My whole body ached. Lucky the one who knows everything."
Leona frowned, but did not speak. She's been hearing a lot of complain this day. When her co- trainees pass by, she would often hear them complaining about how their body ached and make it sound like they are blaming something out of it. It's actually pretty annoying for someone like her who wants peace of mind.
After she went back to her room and rest for an hour or so, she decided to go to her usual place, the gazebo. Unfortunately, the girls were also outside.
She went back reading favorite her English novel- The Dreamer's Dream. A story that's similar and at the same time different to her own. The girl from the story, Dreamy, wasn't born as fortunate as she is. Dreamy's an foster child to an abusive family. The thing that she loved about the book is that, it tells how Dreamy wouldn't stop dreaming despite having faced lot of problems; criticism, financial and abuse. It tells how Dreamy's attitude gradually change as she faces her problems. From being a push- over girl to being a cunning young adult. At the age of 18, her life drastically change when she met her biological father who helped her go to a university and finish her degree. At the age of 23, she build her own business and is successful on her career path. At the age of 25, she met the love of her life who bought her house, loved her dogs and marry her.
Leona dreamily look up at the sky and try to imagine Dreamy's life after she met her father. From the start it might be hard, but it'll be worth it at the end. Besides, no pain no gain. Then she starts to imagine what will her life become in the next few years time.
"Well, well, well... the dreamer and her book." Leona was drawn back from her own little dream world as she felt someone forcefully snatched her book away from her grip. She stood and tried to retract the book from Huian. It's true that she's taller amongst the girls. But compare to her slender body, Huian body looks firm.
"Give it back to me." Leona felt like grabbing locks of Huian hair. She then tried to reach again but no avail.
"What a book you have here." Huian flipped open the cover and tried to read a word.
"I've read the Chinese version. It's cliché." Chen spoke. She stands beside Huian.
"Well?" Huian asking Chen to tell her something.
"Give me back my book." Leona firmly said.
"Or what?" Huian turned to her and smirked.
'This brute!'
"Or else, I'd report this to the mentors."
"Oh, yeah... it seems that you really have them back you up."
Huian chuckled in disdain. She scrutinised her from head to foot, trying to look for imperfection. It angers her more.
"What are you talking about?"
"Tell you, princess. Everyone here knows what you did."
Leona brows twitched. She couldn't fathom what is happening. She couldn't understand why is this girl before her, together of their other co- trainees, look at her as if she's done something evil.
"Well, I don't know what I did." She responded.
"Why do looks so calm during lunch? Don't think for once that I didn't notice you eating while some of us was getting worried of the news. Why is that?"
Leona think that Huian is being irrational and unreasonable. What if she was really anxious and worried but did not want to show it. Is it even her business.
