"The forbidden fruit is always the sweetest.""I forgot to ask you what happened to your leg yesterday. Mind telling me?" Liquan starts. She and the girls are going to the dining hall for breakfast. She just finished her work out- she started at 4am.
"I'd like to keep it to myself, if that's alright." Changying did not want Liquan to interfere with her business with Ashley. It's easy to let bygones be bygones than seek revenge against someone who she doesn't knew she can win against. Looking at the girl besides her, she thinks it's a blessing in disguise kind of karma. Liquan is very compassionate and warm.
"Of course. Not my business anyway. I was only worried and curious." Changying took her seat besides Liquan. Her group mates and Liquan's sat on a round table with enough seats to accommodate them.
"Well, I heard practice was finished?" One of Changying group mates asks.
"Yeah. It's finished early than I expected." Liquan took a bit of her vegan sandwich.
"So team's practice starts today?"
Changying got worried. She never had a chance to catch up with the choreography. She has no one to ask for help, aside of course from Liquan. She's afraid to even look at Huian. She's not one to approach strangers for help. Besides, Liquan is a great dancer herself. She just hope that she's also patient.
"I guess so. Maybe, we can practice with Liquan's. What do you think girls?" Changying looks at Liquan, who by the way, has confused expression.
The girls just nodded to her. It seemed to Liquan, aside from being troublemaker, Changying really care of her team mates. She sighed.
"Are you sure? I don't wanna practice with stubborn and unwilling girls." She sternly said. The girls stopped in silence. They think, Liquan is being too blunt. They hadn't met someone like Liquan before. If they're in a different situation, they'd think she's being impolite and unwilling.
"Seriously though, it's hard to practice with someone who isn't willing to even be there. It's awkward. It will just makes us uncomfortable."
Changying took a mental note to thank Liquan later. Although, she wants to say the same thing, she lacks courage to do so. How will she be able to take a violent reactions from them. She's lacking with confidence, unlike Liquan. Though, she has been with the for two weeks, it doesn't make it less scary. The only person she was close to was Huian. And now, they're not anymore.
"I think we're just going to be fine. Or perhaps, you plan to make us suffer?" The girl- whose name Liquan don't know- asked again.
She feigned gasp.
"You're a mind reader, I see."
The table was filled with laughter and teasing. Jiao and the twin include themselves to the fun. Jia on the other hand, couldn't kept herself from glancing to the neighbouring and would start fidgeting. Liquan tried to ignore it, but it's getting more frequent. Jia's glancing at the neighbouring table is very obvious to Liquan's perspective. She moved her body sideways, subtly looking for whatever or whoever was Jia looking at. On her peripheral, she saw Huian looking across their table.
'What's with these two?'
She took a glimpse of Jia. The girl was still oblivious of Liquan's gazes. Liquan frowns when she noticed how Jia's body tenses yet looks flustered.
'What is happening with these two?' Frown unwillingly painted itself on her face.
"Liquan, are you okay?" She hears Changying called out. She blinks her eyes. Huian and Jia were taking her mind away. She couldn't quite decipher what was happening with them. They seemed so suspicious and weird?
