Pete, Patrick, and Brendon pull up to where they believe Andy is.
"If he isn't here I'm gonna fucking lose my shit," Brendon exclaims while getting out of the backseat of the car.
Patrick looks over to his fiancé. "What if he's not here?"
Pete takes his hand and says, "He's gonna be here. Everything will end up okay." He looks at the building, "We may not see him immediately; it's a big building. But, we'll find him."
Patrick plants a kiss on Pete's cheek and gets out of the car. He tries to catch up with Brendon, who's already entering the building. He watches as Brendon stops with a shocked expression on his face.
"What is-" Patrick starts to ask, but then sees what his friend saw.
"Uh, hi?"
Pete finally catches up to them and sees their friend sitting down, crying. Pete is the first one to move to help get Andy up.
"C'mon buddy. Let's get you home."
Andy starts crying more, afraid that he'll have to explain everything. Pete notices and reassures him.
"Andy, you don't gotta explain anything. Eventually, we're gonna wanna know. But for right now, you don't have to talk about this."
Andy nods as he goes to hug Patrick. Patrick hugs back and feels him start crying again.
"Hey Andy, lets go to the car, okay?"
He feels Andy nod and he lets go. He walks behind the guys, not wanting to be even more embarrassed than he already is.
They all get into the car and Pete starts driving. "Music?"
Patrick gives his partner a look.
"What? I don't wanna keep this weird vibe in the car," Pete replies. "Andy? Do you want to listen to music?"
"Doesn't matter," he mumbles.
Pete sighs and just keeps driving.
After a few minutes of Brendon, Pete, and Patrick talking amongst themselves, Andy speaks up.
"I wanna go to Joe's."
The car goes dead silent. Brendon looks out the window to hide his shocked expression, while Patrick and Pete just look straight ahead.
"A-Andy, are you sure you wanna do that?" Patrick finally breaks the silence.
"I think. I wanna get the talk over with."
"Uh, alright," Pete starts heading in the direction of Joe's house.
"Andy, are you a hundred percent positive you wanna do this? Are you sure you're ready?" Brendon asks.
"I'm pretty sure. If all goes wrong though, will one of you come get me?"
"Of course, Andy." Patrick answers.
"Well, his house will be coming up," Pete turns down Joe's street.
Andy starts to get more nervous and starts wondering if he's making the right decision by seeing Joe. Pete pulls into his driveway.
"Andy you don't have to do this." Pete tells him.
"I know, but I feel like I should." Andy sighs and opens his door. "Thank you guys. So much." He closes it and walks up to Joe's door.
After Pete drives away, Andy takes a deep breath and knocks on his door.
The door opens, and Andy sees a very tired-looking Joe.
"A-andy? What are you doing here?"
"Uh..." Andy tries to explain without breaking down, "I h-had Pete drop me off to t-talk."
Joe moves out of the way and gestures for Andy to come in.
"Smells pretty strong in here.."
Joe avoids eye contact, "Uh yeah. Haven't had much to do but smoke and drink."
Andy's heart breaks at that statement and wants to go up and hug him, but he know he shouldn't.
"A hug would be nice," Joe looks at him like he was reading his thoughts.
Andy starts tearing up, "Are you sure? I know I only did that when we were dating. So I just-"
Joe cuts him off by hugging him tightly.
Andy hugs back, if not tighter. He's missed this. He's missed how things were. He's missed Joe.
"I've missed you." Joe says softly.
