You wipe off the invisible dust in your pants. You abruptly stood up, planning to head back home. You live alone. Your aunt raised you, gave you food, the things you needed and gave you care and love. She played the role of your parents which are long gone. She provided you everything you needed. She sent you to school. Because of her, you are now a successful woman, an employee in a marketing company. Unfortunately, the woman who raised you and treated you as her own is gone as well. That day, you felt like your world crushed and faltered the second time around. Your aunt died in an accident a year ago. She is now gone, your parents are gone and you're all by yourself as you always are.You feel your heart starting to clench as you remember the day your parents died. You were woken up by the warm embrace of your mother. She greeted you with a sweet kiss on your cheeks. You happily strolled downstairs to the dining room where your father waits for you to sit so you can start eating. You sat down and ate with your parents. You were only 8 years old back then. After a good few hours, your parents bid you goodbye to go to work. You were left with your aunt, the same woman who raised you. The day went on normally. Evening is now arriving and you excitedly waited for your parents to come home. Out of excitement, you begged your aunt to call your parents. She agreed. Your mom answered the phone.
:Yes sweetie?
:Mom,are you and dad coming home yet?
:Yes sweetie, wait for us. Remember we love you and we will always will.
:I love you too Mom, come home quickly.
With that, your mom hung up the phone. You grinned happily not knowing those were the last words you'll hear from your mom. An hour after, your parents didn't arrive yet. Your aunt received a call. She came to you, tearing up. You wished to know the reason why, but she just dragged you with her, hurrying. You arrived at a hospital, confused of what's going on. Your aunt carried you and ran past the hallways of the hospital. You finally reached a room, a very quiet one. Your aunt broke down in tears. You consciously peeked on the bed. There, you have seen the most horrible sight you witnessed. On the bed, were your parents covered in blood. The doctor came in. "They had an accident. We tried our best to save them, but we couldnt. I am so sorry." With that, he left leaving you feeling like someone is stabbing your chest multiple times. Your parents died. From that day on, you felt alone. You felt empty and wished for happiness to come back and embrace you.
