Hoseok:
Days passed and Yanna has been more happy than usual. I guess she's really in love now. Sadly, with someone else.
I came over to her place and she greeted me with a beautiful smile. The same smile that made me fall for her. It hurts to think that she smiles for someone else now.
"Come sit Hobi. Let's have some rest. The week has been tiring", she said patting the spot beside her on the couch.
"Yes it is. You don't seem tired actually. You have a different glow."
"Really? What kind of glow?"
"You're awfully happy. That makes you glow."
"Someone makes me."
She made her way to the kitchen and returned with a hot chocolate for me.
"How are you Hobi?"
"I'm fine."
"Really? You don't seem like it."
"No. I'm fine."
"What happened to your dinner with Taekwon?"
"That was the happiest dinner I have ever been to",she said as her eyes sparkled with joy.
She's really happy because of him. Ouch.
"Why? What happened?"
"I realized something that night."
"What?"
Have you finally realized that you love him Yanna?
"I received a gift from someone last Christmas. It was a bracelet and a pair of earrings. Taekwon said he sent those."
"Then?"
"He confessed to me. He said he loves me."
"I admire him though. He's handsome, intelligent and has a kind heart. I have always admired him since I started working for him and his company. I saw how he worked hard for what and who he is right now. He is definitely the man that every girl would dream of. An ideal man."
"Is it why you're so happy these past few days?"
"He is a part of it. He made me realize something", she said looking at me seriously.
"What did you do?"
"He is definitely an ideal man but he's not who I dream to be with. I rejected him."
I suddenly felt like a burden has been put off my shoulders when she said those.
"Why did you reject him?"
"I love someone else", she said looking at me, her eyes piercing through my soul. Then, she smiled.
I went home that day with Yanna's words playing repeatedly inside my head.
I love someone else.
