Yanna:
Few days passed and it's the last day of the year, The New Year's Eve. I cleaned up my apartment a day ago, just to keep the bad luck away and to face the new year with a fresh ambience.
I walked outside the my apartment building and with my hands on the pocket of my jacket. The air gets colder and colder each passing day. Christmas just passed by but the streets are still adorned with lanterns.
I sat along one of the benches in the town plaza. Unlike the streets, the plaza is decorated with lucky charms for the new year. People passed by, talking about how they should celebrate and welcome the new incoming year. While me, I just sat there rubbing the palm of my hands, trying to warm myself as much as I could.
My phone suddenly vibrated from my pocket. Hoseok is calling.
"Yanna, I'm here outside your apartment. I am calling you but no one seems to answer."
"Obviously, I'm not in there. You can just wait for me there. Go inside. You have the spare key."
Yup, I gave him the spare key. I trust him.
"Where are you? I'm coming to get you."
"No need. I can go home myself."
"I know but it's cold. I don't want you to get sick."
"Aish fine. I'm here in the town plaza."
"Okay good. Wait for me I'll pick you up."
"Bye. I'll wait for you."
I hung up the call and waited for Hoseok. After a few minutes he came hanging another jacket to my shoulders.
"I have a jacket Hobi. Use it instead."
"Nope. I don't want you to get cold. Now, hop inside the car."
We arrived back to my apartment and settled down. "I will prepare a hot chocolate for you. Wait here", I said and hung my keys in the peg.
Soon after, I came back the dining room with two cups of hot chocolate in both of my hands.
"What brought you here Hobi?"
"I came here to invite you."
"Invite me? Where? What are we gonna do?"
"I'll take you out later."
"You should have just texted me. That way I can refuse easily", I joked.
"You don't want to?"
"Just kidding."
"Yup, I can just text you but I chose to drop by. I miss Tan, that's why I came", he said and hugged Tan who is sitting beside him.
Seriously? You miss him. Not me?
"Whatever you say."
"I'll go ahead. I'll pick you up later", Hoseok said with a sly smirk on his face.
What's with that smirk?
Hoseok:
I teased Yanna and said that I miss Tan instead of her. She frowned a bit but removed it immediately.
"Whatever you say", she said slightly rolling her eyes.
I bid her goodbye with a smirk on my face. Someone's jealous.
