Yanna:
I woke up because of the constant tugging that I feel in the hem of my pajama bottoms. I tried to ignore it and snuggled further into my sheets.
The tugging soon stopped and I smiled triumphantly.
I suddenly felt someone licking my face. I opened my eyes and saw Tan. I swear, if only I do not love this dog, I already have thrown him outside my window.
I smiled and sat up,still not leaving my bed. "Good morning baby. Did you have a good sleep? Well I had not until you woke me up. Nope, just I was just joking."
I decided to leave my bed and carried Tan back to his mini bed in the living room. "Stay here Tan okay? I'm just gonna get changed. Look at me I look like a walking bird's nest."
I went back to my room. I changed into a sleeveless shirt and a pair of shorts. I proceeded to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast. I decided to have bacon and eggs with toast. I quickly but carefully fried some eggs and bacon. Then, I prepared the toast.
I placed the freshly prepared breakfast on my table. 'Seems like something is missing',I mumbled while looking up the ceiling, thinking.
'Aha! Right the milk.' I opened my fridge hoping to find a box of milk. Sadly there's no milk left. I guess I have to go grocery shopping then.
I finished eating my breakfast and decided to clean my apartment. It's a Saturday and better use this day to clean up. A clean place and clean surroundings make me feel relaxed.
Tan suddenly approached me, barking loudly. "What do you want baby? Are you hungry? I just fed you", I asked the cute pup. He suddenly dragged me to only God knows where. He stopped and I looked up. There he is, sitting under the spot I have kept his leash.
"You want to have a walk baby? But it's snowing outside. It's winter Tan. We might get sick",I explained praying to God he'll understand me. The cute pup just looked up to me with his famous puppy eyes. "Okay fine Tan. But, we should be back here early. Stay here, I'll just go get changed."
I left Tan and went to my room to change. I wore some warm sweater paired with pants. I also decided to wear shoes with it. I also looked for Tan's winter clothes. Of course he also has one. He's my baby, he should have these. Besides, it's cold outside.
I glanced at the wall clock, 8am. The heck? What time did I get up from bed? 6am? I guess Tan woke me up too early. I didn't even remember to check the time since I was busy cleaning up.
I went back to the living room and dressed up Tan. I also left to get his leash. "Let's go then baby?"
I carried Tan until we reached the ground floor of my apartment building. We stepped outside and was greeted by cold air. The ground is slightly covered with snow now. Well, a thin layer. It has been just almost two weeks after the first day of snowfall this year.
We walked and walked until we reached a park. I decided to sit on a bench to go have some rest. I placed Tan on my lap. "That was tiring Tan. Let's have some rest first."
We were having some good rest not until Tan went down from my lap and started running, dragging me with him. He ran and ran until I bumped with something. I looked up and saw a very familiar face.
"Hobi is that you?"
"Yanna! What are you doing here?"
"I was just sitting on that bench right there until my dog dragged me and I bumped into you."
"Oh, you have a dog?"
"Obviously", I said pointing at Tan.
I eyed Tan and noticed that he is with another dog. Surprisingly, the dog has a leash and the leash is currently held by Hoseok's hand. "I guess your dog is the reason why Tan dragged me here."
"Oh I'm sorry." Hoseok bent down and carried his dog in his arms. I did the same with Tan.
"This is my dog and his name is Mickey." Hoseok introduced his dog.
"This is my baby Tan." I introduced Tan to the both of them.
"I never knew you have a dog", Hoseok says as we watch the dogs now happily playing with each other. "Well, me either. You never told me you have a dog."
"Seems like they're already friends", he added smiling.
"Yeah, just like us. I'm happy for Tan."
We let the dogs play some while we talk. An hour passed and I decided to go home. "Well, I guess we have to go now Hobi. I don't want Tan to be sick. It's cold."
"Oh, we are going home now too. But Yanna, you still haven't replied to my message."
"You messaged me? I'm sorry I really didn't have time to check my phone. I was in the middle of cleaning up when Tan begged me for a walk." I fished out my phone from my pocket and saw that Hoseok sent another 'good morning' message to me. I sent a reply even if he is just standing in front of me. His phone lit up and he smiled as he read my reply. "Well, that was what I just wanted. Goodbye Yanna.",he said as he walks away with his dog. I walked home with Tan right after.
