The Demon War

Chapter 2

Today's P.E. day, the day that everyone-well almost everyone enjoys. The demons usually use this day to either bully people or skip class. Some of them do P.E. class but get bullied by the other races. Meanwhile, the other races play basketball, baseball, dodgeball, or just sit and talk. For me, I'm more of a sit and talk person. Me and a couple of angels were talking about the test that's coming up. Meanwhile, Cael and a couple of other races decided to play baseball today. "I-I forgot...how serious and strong..you can be...Aubry" Cael said clearing his throat. Aubry smiled, "Sorry, I can be a bit tense sometimes" He chuckled scratching his neck slightly. 

Aubry Napoleone. One of the elves, he's a pretty chill and calming man. But during a serious time like sports or war, his personality completely changes. He's also one of Cael's friends, me and him do talk sometimes though, so I'm pretty cool around him. "Another round?" Aubry asked as Cael nodded. 

"Woah! Homerun!" Cael shouted as the ball fly out of the field. "Son of a bitch, those dirty ass demons gonna rub their cock on it now," One elf said as everyone begins to laugh, I couldn't help but laugh also. "I'll go look for it!" I said as the elves and Cael nodded, I begin to run off as I could hear the elves and Cael continue to play the game with another ball.

Outside is very peaceful, the wind was great, cherry blooms, we could even hear some people singing if we're super lucky. It is spring, after all, so we gonna have our peaceful days. "Owch!" I could hear a tiny cute voice. "Huh? Maybe he has the ball?" I walk up to the noise. I could see a fox on a tree laying back, his eyes were half-open so I bet he just woke up. "Oh, hello!" I waved as the fox looks at me smiling, "Gabriel! It's nice to meet you" His cute voice said. I chuckled, "Nice to see you too, Rennard," I said. 

Rennard Maawiya, he's a fox. Kinda obvious with his ears and sometimes tail. I don't know how, but he could hide the tail but not the ears. We known each other since school started, he was getting pick on and I defended him. Since then, we both did become good friends. "Ren, have you seen a ball anywhere?" I asked as Ren nodded reaching under the tree before grabbing it. "I was asleep when I felt a ball hitting me right in the butt, it kinda hurts but is alright" He smiled as I sigh in relief. "Sorry, Cael and his friends can be...insane sometimes" I smiled as Ren chuckled. He jumped down and handed the ball to me. I wonder why Ren never goes to P.E., "Hey, Ren?" I call him as he looks at me. "Why you never come here?" I asked him as he looks at the tree then back at me. "Oh? You wanna sleep?" I asked as he shook his head, "The sun just gets in my eyes easily and I just want a place to relax". Out of everyone, you can call him the loner. He likes to be alone in his thoughts, I don't know why so I don't question. "Well, I have to give this back to Cael before he loses his mind, I'll talk to you later!" I waved as Ren nodded waving back. "Hey, Cael, please tell them I said hi!" He said as I nodded running off. 

"Hey! Thanks, Gabe!" Cael said grabbing the ball. "I bet you met Ren, I can smell his fur," He said as I blushed slightly nodding. It's weird how Cael knows who I'm talking to just by his smell unless he's just joking. "Anyway, me and the others gonna play baseball a bit more, wanna join?" He asked. "Well, I'm not usually a sports player, but sure" I was decent in baseball after all, so it doesn't hurt having fun. 

During lunch, Cael and Aubry were cracking up jokes and laughing as always. "Oh look, is that kid" Aubry glared at the demon king son, Robert. "Watch" Aubry threw a piece of food on Robert, Robert felt it but didn't react at all, he just continues to walk off to an empty trash seat. I stood up walking up to him. Of course, Cael and Aubry try to stop me but I just ignored them. "Hey, want my piece?" I asked him, he didn't say a word. He was avoiding any type of contract with me, kinda hurts but I can't blame him. I gave him half of my piece of food. "..." His eyes slightly widen before slowly looking up at me. I smiled, "Gabriel Raguel," I said. He looks down before mumbling, "Robert...Robert McEachern...". I rubbed his back, he slowly begins to tense up but slowly eases himself and enjoy it. I could feel the people's eyes on me, but I don't care, everyone still deserves love. 

"You such a genius, Gabe! You gonna destroy him mentally!" Cael said in the dorm while laughing. I sigh while finishing my work, "No, I just wanna talk to him" I said as he sits right next to me grinning. "Well, to me it looks like you tricking him" He said rubbing my hair a bit roughly. I groaned continuing my work. "Well, it looks like its time for bed, don't study yourself too hard," He said before walking off to his dorm. I sigh looking at the books, "I hope you're happy..Robert.."I mumble to myself before closing my computer walking to bed.
