Chapter 19 (Aubry Arc)

"Aubry..." I look at him in shock. After those three days, he's gonna be gone for the rest of our lives. "They try talking to my parents, but they just couldn't accept it...so I'm going back to that place. But I don't want to" Aubry said weakly holding his head. "A-Aubry, I'm sorry..." I said slowly walking up to Aubry hugging him. Aubry was trembling a lot, I don't know what to say or do...I don't want him to go, but his parents forcing him to go. What if he refuses? Will he get kill? "Aubry, I wanna make these last days fun for you" I said, he slowly looks at me before getting up looking down. "Please make it fun..."He whispered looking down. 

The next day, I decided to wake up early. "First day.." I mumble to myself while getting off from my bed. Cael has also heard the news and decided to join me. We didn't discuss much it, at least for today we haven't. We wanted to make Aubry happy for his final days, so we gonna make it as fun as we could. At first, Aubry was putting up a fake smile trying to cheer us up, but slowly the smile became real. "Hey, Gabe.." Ren gently pulls my sleeve. I look at him, Ren sighs before saying, "Will he comes back? Will he even be alright?" Ren asked as I sigh looking down. "I honestly don't know, I hope so..." I look at the sky sighing. I'm just hoping-no, praying that everything's gonna be okay with Aubry while I'm gone. 

The next day, we all decided to explore the town a bit more. It might be Aubry's last day seeing the world before being trap in the school. "Thank you all for doing this, I'm honestly scared.." Aubry would say looking down. "Don't be scare, Aubry, we all are here for you" Ren said as Aubry nodded looking down. I look at Aubry frowning, "Aubry, how about we hang out tomorrow, just the two of us" I said as Aubry looks at me in shock before slowly nodding. 

The next day came very quickly. Aubry was in his normal outfit staring at me full of anxious and a hint of sadness. "Hey," Aubry said smiling softly. I waved back smiling, "Hey, Aubry, how about we walk around town?" I asked as Aubry nodded smiling sadly. While we walking around town, "Gabe. I'm honestly scared, I don't wanna go back but I have to" Aubry said sighing. "You don't have to go back, you can try talk-" Aubry shakes his head stopping me from saying anything else. Aubry looks down sighing. "The whole school tries, but my parents couldn't take their offer. So tomorrow, I gotta go back". This is cruel, he doesn't deserve to go back to that place. But what can we do besides letting him? If we say something, they might torture him hard when he gets back or worse...kill. "Hey, before you go, wanna hug someone?" I asked as Aubry sighs looking at me before slowly hugging me. I could feel a tear on my shoulder, then two, then many tears that I can't count. 

I wasn't in my bedroom this time, I was in Aubry's. It was embarrassing that Aubry was wrapping his arms around me, but he needed this support right now. I look at the time, 11:58 PM. It's close to midnight. I slowly look at Aubry, he was also staring at the clock. I could feel his own heart pounding hard and fast, maybe it's my heart? Maybe it's both of our hearts. I slowly put my hands to Aubry's fingers, I could feel them trembling. "Aubry, it's okay, be strong" I smiled at him as he sighs looking down. I look at the clock again, it's midnight...the day Aubry has to go back to the place. "Gabe.." Aubry slowly leaning to my shoulders. "Gabe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring this to you, I just really love all of y'all" He whispers holding me tightly. "Aubry, we love you too. You not weak, remember that" I said as Aubry slowly nodded looking down. 

Me, Cael, Adoff, and Ren was all standing beside the gate. There were a black car and two security guard standing beside the open door. Once those doors close, we can say goodbye to Aubry...forever. Aubry slowly walks out of the door, he was dress in a rich elve school uniform. It was very white with a black ribbon, his shoes were completely black and he was wearing jeans. His face was emotionless, he didn't show a hint of emotion. He slowly walks to the car, the path straight away to hell. I look away clenching my fist tightly. Cael gently held my fist slowly making me calm down. "Aubry Napoleone, we're expecting you to come back after running away. Expect some punishment when you reach there" One of the guards said in a harsh tone. Aubry just nodded looking down. Aubry wasn't allowed to look at us once, they all have to keep their head down while walking to the car, they call it "The walk of shame". Aubry slowly walks to the car looking down, the door closes before the two guards walk to the driver and passenger seat. The car begins to drive off. "..." I could feel the tears form in my eyes, Cael gently rubs my back. This is unfair...this is cruel!
