I was reading some more information about the demon war. "Hmm, same facts we learn back then. But I didn't know that war still going on" I close the book. Cael walks up to me, "Hey, Gabe. Learning a bit more about the war?" Cael asked as I nodded. "There's currently a war, I honestly didn't notice yet". Cael sighs looking down before looking at me, "Well, the whole dead body we saw, is a sign that the demons haven't given up yet" Cael looks at the window sighing.
"Yeah, currently the angels and demons are still on edge with each other. There has been a couple of fights between them but nothing major...yet" Vlad would say while putting his finger to his chin. "The other races decided to stay out of it, but the angels and demons would always start fighting. One day, both of the kings gonna order war and if this continues" Vlad said sighing. "That sounds terrible" Ren frowned as Vlad nodded, "It does, but that's reality. We can't change how people think of each other, the only thing we can do is either pray or just hope another war doesn't happen". Robert looks down, it looks like he wants to say something but he can't. "Well, I hope one day we'll get peace," I said as the others nodded.
Me and Cael were walking around the library looking for some answers. "The only thing I'm getting is that the demon war started with the demon king wanting more power. That's why he fought with the other races, but I know there's more to the story" Cael said while reading. "The Demon King did want power, but he wanted peace also. He wanted the power to make peace" A voice said causing me and Cael to jump. It was Robert, he was looking down sighing. "My fath-I mean, the demon king wanted everyone to be happy. But, the angels and demon hated each other due to their power. The demon king doesn't know better and tries to steal their power, only for a war to happen" Robert said looking away in full hatred and guilt. Me and Cael didn't say a word, we just stare at him in full shock.
Robert explained his father's point of view, it does sound very sad but again...it's just a demon point of view. Me and Cael want to believe him, what's he saying is nothing but the truth. But demons could be lying. "I'll keep this in the back of my mind, but I can't believe you right now," Cael said as Robert sighs getting up. "Nobody believes my father, that's why he send me to the school, to better myself" Robert looks away before walking off. Cael looks at me, "I feel a bit bad for the demo-I mean, Robert". I nodded looking at Robert's back, the kid wanted to change, but nobody lets him. I sigh looking back at the book, "Well, back to studying?" I grinned as Cael groaned rolling his eyes before nodding.
