Chapter 9 (Adoff Arc)

"Adoff!" I shouted looking for him. I think he's in the little corner that he told me about? "Adoff?!", I begin to hear some crying, Adoff must be there. "Ad-"I called his name, I could see him in the corner crying and muttering some words. "Adoff?" I gently put my hand to his back, he tenses up and hits it, "Getaway!" He shouted shaking and crying. "Adoff, it's okay, I won't judge you" I smiled, Adoff looks away shaking his head repeatedly. "No, this was the only way..to get out of that hellhole place! Now he took it away!" Adoff shouted, my eyes widen as I look at him in shock. He stares at me before sighing, "You don't know..do you?" He whispers, I shock my head. He sighs slowly getting up before walking to me, "You're different from the others. No matter what my actions is you don't...hate me.."Adoff said looking down. "I'd never hate you, you must have a reason and I'm sure I understand" I smiled, Adoff just looks down nodding. "Well, people say that, but they never do.."Adoff said wiping his tears. Adoff looks away staring at the wall, "Remember what I told you about my hole? How I'd just use it...to cry? Let all my anger out..this is why" Adoff said walking over to the corner putting his hand on it. Adoff stares at it before slowly turning to me, "It's how our culture works.."Adoff said smiling softly.

The Werewolves culture. I'd heard about it before, when the females only clean, cook, and serve their husbands/sons. While the son's/husbands hunt, train, etc. The thing is the wife and husband gotta abuse their sons/daughters. They do their daughters because they need to become the perfect maids for their lovers. For the son's, they do it so they could grow strong in the military. That's why most of the werewolves in the military are males. When they found out that there were brothers, especially twin brothers, they all harassed the family. The family has to deal with the stress of the hate, but also hurt their two sons. 

"I mean, they don't even know what love is..why show kindness to the two brothers? Who has to deal with the same thing you dealing with? Heh..." Adoff said looking down. "Wait..you have a brother?" I said as Adoff looks at me, "Remember what I just said a moment ago? With the whole abuse thing? He...was the one who always abuses me...my older brother..." Adoff would look away holding his head like a little lost child. "They would do a challenge...a competition...to see which brothers are the best...and I lost...every single one" Adoff slowly looks at me, his eyes were full of hopelessness and rage. He grabs me by the collar tightly and forces a big smile on his face. "Because I'm bad at everything! Aren't I, Gabriel?! I suck at fighting, suck at learning, suck at cooking! But my brother, he's good at everything! He's even good at being a better person than I am..hahahaha!" Adoff laughed like it was no big deal for him. "Thanks to him, they have to take me to that damn school! They noticed that I was his brother, so the school forces them to let me in! So I guess if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here! But he's just as a piece of shit as they are! Hahaha!" Tears begin to fall in his eyes, he continues to look at me with that same rage. "So, I made his life a living hell! Finally, I have revenge over him! Over that piece of shit!" He turns away and punches a hole in the wall, but yet he continues to laugh and cry. "I-It...It'd have been better..if I...if I just...JUST KILL-". "STOP, ADOFF!" I shouted grabbing him tightly, I wrap my arms around him. His eyes widen as he looks at me before crying even louder, his body must've gotten out because he slowly landed on his knees, I gently fall with him rubbing his back smiling. "Adoff, it's okay. I know you dealing with a lot, but you safe now" I said smiling, Adoff looks at me as I nodded. "Adoff, you seem like a very nice person. You just don't know how to show it, but trust me I can help you. And we can fix your relationship with your brother" I smiled as Adoff looks down. "..."Adoff tears up before hugging me tightly crying even louder, I wrap my arms around him letting him let his emotions out. 

I decided to keep what Adoff said a secret, I don't wanna make stuff worse for him and me honestly. But the next day...

"STOP RIGHT THERE, ADOFF BLEIZ! YOU'LL LISTEN TO WHAT I'VE TO SAY!" I heard shouting. While I was walking around outside for some fresh air, I could hear the two brothers fighting. Or at least I thought, Amaruq tone sounded very different from last time. It was a bit of demanding of course, but it also sounds more like begging and a bit of warmth. "What?!" Adoff shouted turning to him while walking. "WAIT!" Amaruq grabbed his arm. Both of their eyes widen as they stare at each other hands then back at each other. I don't know if it just me, but their hatred aura vanished for that quick second, it was full of regret, guilt, and most of all..a bit of love. But Adoff was the first to break it, "What the fuck do you want?!" Adoff shouted causing Amaruq to jump a bit. "Brothers, are you the one making up that rumor?!" He asked as Adoff snorted looking at him, "Brothers? Don't people just figure it out themselves?" He said as Amaruq looks away, his mouth slightly twitches like he was forcing the kindness away. "Adoff-san, if you the one spreading it, please stop.."Amaruq would speak, but his tone was very kind. "Heh, say the one who spread those posters of me, like to hear it from our kind president" Adoff smirked as Amaruq eyes widen, "ADOFF-I mean...Adoff Bleiz...I have no choice but to suspend you for a couple of days.." Amaruq said as Adoff growled walking off. "Amaruq..."I said, he turns to me his eyes were lifeless. "Oh, Gabriel Raguel, what brings you here? Shouldn't you be in class?" He would ask as I sigh, "You know, you don't have to hide in your mask" I said as he looks at me confused. "Hide? I'm not hiding, I'm just telling the truth" He chuckled before walking off. I sigh, how can I unlock the chain between the two brothers?

"Hey, Cael, I'm gonna head out for the day," I told Cael as he looks at me confused, but didn't question. I do appreciate that they don't ask me any questions. Luckily, I told Adoff about this, Adoff at first was a bit hesitant, but he gave me the address. "His parents do accept visitors. Maybe they not as bad as they look" I frowned, I want to believe that but in reality, they're bad people. After a while, I finally reach the house. The house looks very normal, most werewolves house honestly looks like angel's houses, but the inside looks like a total cave. I knock on the door, "Huh? That's strange.." There isn't any answer, by now most of them should answer in a heartbeat. "Oh, what you doing here? The house has been lockdown since the two brothers joined this school" An adult said. I look at him in shock, "Wait, what?!" I said. "Yeah, the wolves didn't like that, so they attack the two basters. They're dead, kid, so don't even try defending the two brothers" He said before walking off. "T-That's crazy talk! Why are y'all like this?!" I shouted, the adult just continue to walk like it was just an average day. This is..this is mess up! Why would they do this?! Now how am I suppose to know more about the culture and their famil-wait, there's one other person I haven't tried yet.
