The Demon War

Chapter 3

Lately, people have been giving me some weird look. Probably after yesterday, some people think a bit differently of me but still respect me. Cael gave them glares and defended me, he still thinks I'm tricking Robert just to fuck him up in the end, but I ain't that type of person. "Gabe? Earth to Gabe?" Cael waved his hand to my face, I snapped out of it looking at him. "I know you thinking about that demon for a while now, but give it a break," He said as I sigh nodding. "I'm planning on talking to him again today," I said as Cael grinned, "I see you, you so smart!" Cael said as I sigh standing up. "Well, see you later, Cael" I waved walking off.

As always, Robert was alone outside. I smiled walking up to him, "Hey! How are you doing?" I asked him. He looks at me before looking down, "Is you, why are you so nice around me? Aren't you just tricking me?" He said in very deep pain. "No, you don't deserve pain, nobody does," I said as Robert sighs looking away. I sit down next to him giving him a piece of sandwich, out of all of the demons he loves to be healthy. Robert grabs the sandwich and begins to eat it. He looks at me swallowing before continuing, "Well, how does it taste?" I asked as Robert shrugged wiping the brushes from his face, something told me he just fought with the werewolves. "I hate him.."He mumbles. I look at him confused, "Who do you hate?". He looks at me with the look of, "You should know who the person is" look. I sigh, I have one guy in mind and I think that guy is, "Adoff Bleiz?". Robert slowly nodded as I sigh looking down. 

Adoff Bleiz is one of the strongest werewolves in this school, nobody dares mess with him. Cael is pretty cool with him, but they do fight time to time and it always ends up in a tie. That's probably why I'm on his cool side. But I don't know how to feel around him. "Well, I'll try talking to him about it" I stand up as Robert just nodded looking down. "Robert, I want you to look up and smile. Looking down and being sad won't help" I said smiling, he slowly looks up at me not saying a single word, but I can tell he's smiling right now. 

I walked up to the werewolves hallway, most of them were pretty chill but also act a bit badass. "What you doing here, angel?" One said as I look at him, "I'm here to see a guy" I said as he laughed, "What are you now, a faggot?" He said as I sigh keeping my cool. "I'm here to see Adoff Bleiz, I want to talk to him," I said, their eyes instantly widen slowly backing away before running off. "You here to see me?" A deep voice said the voice made the back of my hair stood up. "Yes," I said while turning around. Adoff was there crossing his arms, his mix yellow and black hair flipped to the back of his neck. "What do you want, brat?" He said as I sigh looking at him straight in the eyes before saying, "Y'all need to leave Robert alone, him getting harassed is-"Before I could finish, I was grabbed by the collar. His deep yellow eyes glared at me, "Listen here, brat. You can't defend that bitch, he's the reason why everyone separated!". I glared at him, "But, he was just there! He didn't know his father would do this!" I shouted so loudly that all the werewolves turn to us. Adoff snorted throwing me to the ground, the werewolves were shouting, they want us to fight. One of the werewolves even put their hands on me, that was enough to make the other races walk to the hallway. "Gabe!" Cael shouted kicking one of the werewolves. 

"I didn't want you to fight at all," I said as Cael chuckled. "Well, me and Aubry have to help you one way or another. But, you do like that demon boy don't you?" He asked as I nodded. "Thank god Ren brought me to safely," I said as Cael nodded, "Well you and that demon boy, and he fought all of the werewolves," He said as I nodded. Adoff punch was so strong that it knocked me out completely, I still could feel his claw in my cheek. "Well, I gotta hand it to you, kid" Aubry turn to a bruise Robert, "You got guts, you have my respect," Aubry said. Robert didn't say anything, but he nodded. I can tell deep down he's happy and he wants to cry right now. Vlad was in the corner crossing his arms sighing, "It's been a long time since we fought those werewolves. They ain't as bad as the demons, but still bad" He chuckled slightly. Out of everyone, he doesn't have a single scratch which is amazing honestly. "Anyway, y'all wanna go eat?" Cael grinned, we couldn't help but laugh. It's like nothing happened, but one good thing did happen, we did become good friends with each other.
