(Annie's POV)
Then there was a knock.
Officer 1: Open up! it's the police!
Billy: YOU CALLED THE POLICE!
I shook my head frantically. Who called them?
Billy: DONT LIE TO ME!
I kept shaking my head. The door went down with a loud bang.
Officer 2: Let her go! Or i will shoot!
He pulled out a gun. Then my "father" did too. He pointed it at me.
Officer 1: Dont shoot her... just calm down...
Billy: Really then what does this trigger do?!
Then there was a loud bang. And another. And another. I fell to the floor. In no pain. I wasn't shot. I looked at Billy and saw his lifeless body on the floor. Woah... did that all really just happen.
Officer 2: Are you ok?
I nod my head, still in shock with everything that happened.
Officer 1: Someone named... Jayden? Called us.
My eyes went wide as I nodded my head again.
Annie: Th-thank you..
Officer 3: You now have all authority over this house, bank account, everything that was your father's.
I nodded my head once again. I can't believe i spoke. The police took me in to question me like how long and stuff like that. I didnt do anything for Billy because I didn't want to. I got home and texted Jayden.
To: Jayden💜
Why did you call the cops?!
Not even 2 seconds later i got a response.
From: Jayden💜
I wasn't going to let him keep hurting you.
To: Jayden💜
He almost killed me. But the police ended up killing him.

Well you should be thanking me. U saved your life :)

I guess you did. Thank you.

I let out a sigh of relief. I am free of him. Finally... free.
