4.BEWITCHING KISS

"Here I am mom, on time for the party," I called for her while waiting at the back door with Lincoln besides me..  Yes i decided using the back door, the party is arranged in the front garden I can't literally go into the party like this, especially  in dirty       t-shirts and shorts. Suddenly door opened and mom was standing infront of me with crossed hands..

"Why are you so late Ian? and who is this handsome youngman by the way!?'  she asked with a little suprise, looking at Lincoln. Before he could say anything I managed to come up with series of lies and said her that "He is Lin, cousin  of Joshuva and we met at the party and we become friends, By the way he said he wanna have a tour over our town and so I invited him for the party and stayover," hope you and dad don't mind.

"No, we wouldn't mind at all," she said happily and I think my series of lies convinced her, before she could ask anything I said we gonna go up and refresh ourselves and join the party mom. Lincoln followed me to up after he having a welcoming conversation with my mother.

Lincoln's POV

His mom is very welcoming , I am happy she invited me into the house because Vampire cannot enter into people's house unless they are invited in. After a little conversation with his mother I followed Ian to his room up only to find that he was in real mood of attending the party like nothing bad happended today.

I was scanning his room with my eyes and find a two pair of black and grey suit lying on the bed.

You can use the grey one Lincoln, I think it  fits for your size.. He said while he was coming out of the shower.

I asked him, "Dont you worry about the fact I am a vampire and you are asking me to attend the party filled of humans!?"

"Come on chill Lin, Guess that what gonna be your name from here on,  I know you are vampire and I also knew that in all these years you would have been to many parties filled of humans and also I hope that  you'll behave like a gentleman and dont prove me wrong."

"And for the record, you gave me your word Lin that you would be never harm to anyone around me."

"Ofcourse, I have been to many parties, I know very well about behaving like a gentleman, I replied to him."

"Then we have no problem, just go take shower, you smell so awful since you were in coffin for almost a century and join me at the party" he said and left for the party in prefect dress code.

And here I am standing in his room and wondering myself how the world and humans changed over this century.

Sarah POV

Its been 2 hours since I arrived here Ian's house for the party , he should be here by now. He sounded like he is not intrested in this party when we spoke this morning but he said he gonna be here anyway. I  haven't said that I'll be attending, I thought of suprising him.

Its been so long since we met in person though, we managed ourselves to be in touch always, He'd be bit shocked to see me here but I hope he'll be happy too.

My eyes never stopped searching for him allover the party thats when my eyes caught him walking straight to me, Probably he seen me first , He was wearing a black tux which suited perfectly for his well built body and olive skin. His hair.. I think he growed it little long than its was before, which looked good on him . Finally he came to me and without saying anywords, he hugged me.

I hugged him back I am glad he is happy to see me here and then he whispered in my ears those words

"You're beautiful in red Sarah," yeah I am wearing a red frog which my best friend Ibera suggested when I said her  that I was going to meet Ian after a long time.

"You're not bad too... You looks good," I said to him teasingly, Trust me,  girls always love to give compliment and tease a boy at the sametime.

"Ohh...anyway I'll take this as a compliment," he said added with that he asked why I haven't said anything about attending the party.

"I just wanted to suprise you, which I hope I did suprise you, And I also wanna see you on your birthday  'Happy Birthday' Ian,"

I could see the happiness all over his face I would say I have never seen him such happy before and I wished it would be always there. Just when we decided to go and grab some drink after our little chat. I saw a guy in grey suit approaching us.

"Hello Ian, I am so glad that I found you," that guy said, tapping Ian's shoulders and I could see Ian's expression changed a little bit but he soon back to normal when he saw the person.

"I am so glad that you found us, let me introduce you Sarah Williamson, My friend he said to him."

The guy in the grey suit held his hand out which I took and introduced myself as Sarah Williamson. He suprisingly took my hands and kissed my knuckles like in the old fashioned way in which a man greet a women by kissing their knuckles.

"Hello, Miss Sarah Williamson. I am Linclon, a dear friend of Ian and Its a pleasure meeting you," after a brief pause "Your ring looks so pretty Sarah and I guess its an antique piece" he added.

I thanked him and said "Yes it is my grandmother's ring she give to me on her last days when I was a kid and It fits me perfectly now," he gave me a warm welcoming smile when I answered.

He seems to be a nice guy though, I haven't seen this guy before nor heard of him from Ian, he seems to be a perfect gentleman and before I could ask anything about him, Ian said he is a cousin of Joshuva and they met at the party and he is here to have tour over East falls and he added that he would be staying here..

After a little chat and drink Lin excused himself from us, letting us have some time alone and gone to have a look around the garden..

My mom called to my phone and she said its time to leave and she and my dad were waiting in the parking..

Though I said I'll be fine myself, Ian decided to walk me to the parking  and 
We bid our good byes... And I turned to move my way to car

"Sarah, Sarah..." I could hear him calling my name. He came back to me he looked like he got something to say. But instead of saying anything he did something and I wasn't expecting it yet it suprised me.

He placed his hands on my cheeks and my face perfectly fit into his hands then he kissed me..he kissed me on my forehead.

He then whispered the words "Goodnight Sarah, and see you soon." And after that I wasn't sure what to say I just smiled at him and walked back to my car and was on my way to home with my parents..

On the way, My mind kept replying the scene where he kissed me over and over again and All I could do was chuckle to myself  and something made me to remember the words which I read somewhere a long ago..

"There is no greater joy for a girl other than getting a bewitching kiss on forehead by her love".
