11.MY HOME

Ian's POV

"Do we really have to do this on the hard way, Lin? Is there not any other way, may be simple tricks to defend myself from those wolves or vampires?" I asked Lin for one final time before, I do this.

"Of course, there is much more simple ways to defend youself. But with those you will able to protect only yourself. And it won't render you the strength that needed to protect your friends when they can't do it on their own. Okay, tell me now which you choose Mr. Paker?"

His words strikes me, I know I am human, may be I don't have the supernatural powers like my friends. I have no vamp-powers like Lin and Josh has, nor magic like Ibera, and also hidden wolf power like Sarah, but those obstacles are never enough to stop me from trying. I have to show what I am capable and what my potential is, to those bastard wolves who dare think that they can capture the woman of my life so easily  without a fight. Lucky for me, Lin promised me that he will teach me how to fight vampires and wolves. I will prove to my friends that they can count on me to save them when they are in trouble.

"Tell me....  Parker, Which way you wanna choose!???" Lin's words broke my thoughts. He was standing in front me and looking for my answer.

"Lets do this... As much as I love to be alive I also want to have that life filled with my friends and the people I love. I am not ready to take any chances in that."

"Thats my boy!! Show us what you have in you." Josh shouted at me. He was standing along with Ibera and Sarah, a few metres awary from where me and Lin is.

When Lin said he would teach me how to fight with vampire and wolves. Crossbows, Guns with wodden bullets, Silver stakes and lot of wodden claws  were those filled my mind. Not even for second, the thought about physical fight crossed my mind.

Yet here I am standing inside a old wooden mansion in the middle of woods.. Although none of us have any idea about this place, Lin chose this place to train me.

"Alright, Show me what you got Ian, Let me see what you are really capable." Lin said with a wicked smirk crossing his lips.

"Sure, Lin I will," As soon as completing my words. I launched myself at him throwing my punches all over his face. I am really glad that I was not as slow as I thought, Instead my moves are prett fast. But not as fast as his reflexes. He barely moved from his place, he dodged all my punches in his single hand.

"Bloody hell, he is using his vamp-speed in his movements". I backed a few inches away from him. I tried to land a kick on his neck with my left foot, but he caught my foot with his hand. Now I am literally standing on one leg in the floor while other is on his hand. He still had that wicked smirk on his lips and I don't like it right now, Out of sudden I swinged my right leg in a way leaving a heavy blow on his neck, right side,

He trembled a little by that kick, I fell onto the floor, soon I rose to my feet back, "Thats pretty impressive" Lin said to me.

I took my breath and launched my right fist trying to give a blow in his chest, Out of no time he moved away from my way leaving me to tremble, When I turned he was standing in the place where I was before. I started running towards him and speared into his guts pushing him into the wall behind him. As soon as his back hits the wall, he blowed my back with his elbow. I fell onto the floor with my face. He walked past me. Little blood spilled on the floor from my mouth.

"Come on!! Ian, I didn't give that much power in that blow, So get your stupid face off the ground and start fighting back..." Lin shouted at me.

"WTF... It hurts like a hell", I try to rose to my foot, but the impact of that blow didn't let me. "It was really a heavy blow, how the hell, he could say that there was no power in that," Finally I managed to stand on my feet. I took a deep breath and looked at him.
