28. POINT BLANK

Ian's POV

"You don't have to come with us?" Sarah insisted Laura to stay back. I agree with her too, Laura and her pack already did help us enough. They have given us the herbs and taught us some tricks to make the transformation after triggering the curse, easier.

"No, I have to come, You and your friends helped us to get the moon light ring which I never thought possible because of the council. So, the least I could do is be there for you when you go through your transformation," Laura said.

Before Sarah say anything, "Take her with you, she'll be a lot helpful and if you're afraid anything happen to her. Trust me, she can handle more than of her share in kicking bad guys out and besides once she makes up her mind, there is no turning back," Maxwell said while walking down on the stairs.

"Okay, fine you can come with us," Sarah said defeatedly.

"Thank you, thank you.." Laura said while squeezing Sarah in bear hug, Sarah looked at me over her shoulders, I couldn't help but shrug my shoulder while smiling at her.

"Let's move then, I wanna make sure that Josh is not holding some innocent man as our prisioner," Lin laughed mockingly, I should say there is some notable difference in Lin now than compared to one week before. The trip really did change something in him or may be Ibera did.

"Yeah...Lin is correct and Josh gonna get nice from me if he as much as moved a picture on my wall," Ibera said cautiously.

We said our good byes to the pack and Alpha Maxwell and started leaving in our car. The week we spent here was good and besides I learned a lot about werewolves and the one that peaked my intrest was something called Mate Bond. I was told that mostly werewolves who triggered their curse will find their mate who will obiviously be another werewolf. For a minute I had a heart attack thinking about it and only I was relived when Maxwell said that there is also legends about werewolves having human mates and when they have it the human can understand his werewolf mate when he or she in wolf state and also he added that he never seen one in his life time.

Guess I should able to find that out in few days. I can't give up Sarah just because she is werewolf and because of stupid thing called Mate Bond. My hands tightened on the steering when I thought about of me not turned to be  Sarah's Mate.

"You know you shouldn't over think, Ian." Lin said to me in husky voice so that girls on back wouldn't hear us. "If she is meant to be yours, she'll be yours no matter what," he said while looking at Sarah in the rear mirror.

"Yeah, I know.. it's just..." Oh dammit Lin.. "Did you just read my mind?" I asked unbelievingly.

"Yeah," Lin sighed, "I just want you to not worry about it."

"Oh.. Yeah... Lurking around in my mind without permission just gonna make me worry more," I scoffed.

"Not worry about what?" Sarah asked while peaking her head to the front.

"Nothing, just talking about the transformation, Sarah" Lin backed me up.

"Oh.. Okay.. I guess  I am ready, more likely excited about it." Sarah said and went back. The Sarah I know was definitely not the kind who gets excited about killing someone but I think it's just that wolf in her talked now, whatever just let get this transformation over with I thought to myself, I heard Lin trying to supress his laugh, I turned to his side.

"It's not funny, Lin." I said.

"Sorry, Ian. I couldn't help it." he laughed.
