Ian's POV

"What are you doing, Ian?" Lin asked.

"Letting a pregnant woman to be tied in chain would be a biggest mistake,"  I said and started untying her, "We are better than this."

Sarah didn't stop me doing it, I know that deep down her heart she know that I am doing the right thing. I untied her, the woman was so weak she begin to fall as soon as I untied the chain. Josh rushed to her otherside,  together we helped her to sit on the floor.

"I don't hear feel any sign of child inside her," Josh said while placing his hand on her stomach.

"It is cloaked with cloaking spell, we didn't want the Council to figure out our  real motive to help them," the woman said weakly.

"Then how can we be sure that you are telling the truth?" Amy asked.

"I can siphon the cloaking spell that put on her child and make sure whether she is telling the truth or not," Ibera said. She came and kneeled infront of the woman and placed her hand on the woman's stomach and started siphoning the magic.

"She is telling the truth, I siphoned the magic out from the spell and I can feel the child," Ibera said and left to her place. Josh and I helped the woman to sit with her back against wall, Josh stood uo and walked to stand near Lin and I went and stood beside Sarah.

"I am still chained, release me," the man said.

"Not yet," Lin said before anyone could speak.

"What are we gonna do?" Sarah asked.

"Sarah, I have something important to say to you, we shall talk it in the hall while our uninvited guest waits here." Lin said.

"Don't try to escape, this room is spelled, the harder you try to break the door, the harder you loose your energy." Ibera said and waved her hand at the man, his chains unlocked, he fell on the ground near to the lady. The man and woman didn't say anything. We locked the door and got out of the basement and reached the hall.

"Guys, really what are we gonna do now. It is not like we can keep them as prisoners till the baby is born, can we?" Oliv said, her voice showed the frustration thats inside her.

"We can't do that," Josh said in a serious tone.

"Why the hell not?, it's the only way to stop the Council from chasing Sarah." Oliv came back with her words at Josh.

"Guys, stop it" Ibera yelled at both of them. Suprisingly they both stopped, "Good, now all of you stay put, I'll go and get us some tea and cookies," with that she went into kitchen.

"What was it that you have to say to me, Lin?" Sarah asked Lin. Everyone's attention now turned to Lin. He was standing with his back the wall and his hands were in his pockets, I couldn't help but wonder how he is able to maintain his composure no matter how crazy the situation is. He begun to talk in a calm way.

"I found the reason why the Council is chashing you. I found it yesterday when I confronted the woman who is in the basement now," Lin said. He didn't say me that, he said everything about what happened yesterday when we were on our way back to home, he said about the pendant, he said about the wolves attack, he said about how Ibera got killed and came back to life with help of the pendant, he said everything but all those became least important to me now when compared to the reason why the Council is chasing Sarah.

"What is it?" I asked him and so do Sarah at the same time.

"Let's just say you're their secondary need to fulfill their primary want," Lin said calmly. "How the hell he could be this calm?"
