I couldn't believe what just happened here. I am witnessing the very devilish act of the very person who just had a normal dinner with us a little while ago. Lincoln was literally standing there soaked with blood of whatever the monster it was, which he killed with no mercy.
All I could think about now was how I am gonna explain this to Sarah. I could feel her fear and she almost fanited after seeing the horrible thing happened. All I could do is just stare at him, whether I should thank him for saving us or be anger at him for attracting the danger towards us. His face had no expression, no fear, no anger, His eyes showed zero emotions.
Lin's POV
I could see that Ian was staring right into my eyes with full hate. By now, he would have thought that I am the reason for the mess that happened, but , how could I say to him ,that these wolves weren't after me, they were here for the love of his life. He couldn't take it. I should help him no matter how much he hates me,
My thoughts were broken when Ibera asked me to look at the hands of every dead wolves and thats when I noticed their rings. It wasn't just any other rings, they are moon light rings which helps the wolves to control their transformation and give them access to use their full power without transforming into wolf, even in the days other than full moon.
"They aren't just normal rings and they aren't vampires either, they are wolves with moonlight ring." Ibera said to me more likely with a anger tone.
"I could see that too. If I happened to be just a normal vampire.. They would have killed me without much effort." I said to her.
"Its not the time to be proud of being an Original. Do you have any idea about the crap you bought into their life, look at Ian and Sarah, they were just normal teenagers who meant to enjoy the life but you showing up in their life made it as living hell for them... she shouted at me."
"No matter what, I am the one who saved you all and so you cannot accuse me for this mess. Every thing that happened here is not because of me. Its for her, Sarah, I pointed my finger at her, but from the look at her face I realized that she have no idea of anything."
"What the hell you are saying Lin?. Why should these monsters chase after Sarah. Don't try to make up things just because you cannot accept it." Ian shouted at me.
"Do you think I making things up. I may be the evil vampire who kills everybody who gets into my way. But there isn't any reason for me to make up things. I am saying the truth and If you don't believe me see the ring at her hand, and those rings in the hands of those dead monsters are same.."
