12.THE BITE

Sarah's POV

Crescent Lake High school 12.00p.m

It feels good to walk in this hallway, even though it was just been month since I graduated from here, I was in overjoy when I received call from Miss. Cassie the librarian, in the morning. She asked me if I can help her in aligning the new research books arrived today, "of course I am glad to help you with that," was my exact reply to her. I have always been her favorite, every year I would be the one to help her at the time of new arrivals.

"nothing changed this year too," And I am happy about it. And thats how I happen to have a chance to walk on this hallway again. The library work didn't take much as I expected it to, It barely took an hour, after that we talked about my ideas of going college and other things relating to my studies for a while, after that I bid my bye to her and left.

I gazed at my watch, the time is 12p.m.
"Oh thank god," There is no need to rush to meet Ian, back at the old wooden mansion. I said him I can't make it there in the morning, to see how Lin kicks his ass in the name of training and promised him I'll be there in afternoon.

''Looks like someone forget the way to exit, it seems so,"a voice rose behind me back.

''Don't say that you'd followed me all the way upto to school just to mock me,'' I countered him.

''Nah... Nah... I have much important things to do than puppying around you, Miss. Sarah,''

I narrowed my eyes at him. No one  makes this much of fun on me, even Ian wouldn't do that, only he would, the newbie vampire Josh would. I wasn't suprised to see Josh here as he is Miss.Cassie's one and only son. I always wonder how he manages to be cool all the time even after going through many rough times, his father left Miss.Cassie when Josh was 10 years old, he moved out of the town,  he divorced Cassie and married the woman with whom he had been in affair with and now staying with her. Since the divorce, Josh became the only reason for her to live. Cassie started to work here as librarian even though there isn't need for that because her family is well settled one, but whenever I ask her about it, she would always, "Its good to do something other than being inside that house all alone, all the time", and I couldn't agree more.

Josh stepped forward to hug me. I happily hugged him back. ''Okay, what brings Mr.Newbie here, today!?" I asked him after we parted apart from the hug.

''Mom missed the lunch, so I stopped by to bring her lunch and mom said you were here to help her. So I thought I could catch you up with you''.

"Oh thank god, I could really use the ride, it sucks to book the cab everytime'. "Cabs take so long to arrive".

''What happened to your car?" Josh asked.

''It is at the service centre, dunno why, it is taking a while this time."I told him while crusing the service centre in my mind'.

''Okay then, Lets move, I am so eager to see how Lin kicks your boyfriend's ass in the training.'' He said mockingly about the part "your boyfriend."

''Its not that much funny Mr.Newbie." I narrowed my eyes at him again while suppressing my blush. We started moving out of the block towards car parking.

''Don't you have any other music other than these classical ones' I asked him while going through every songs he had in his car."

''Nope, I don't, I am big fan of classical ones, only classical ones.'' He said while his eyes where still focused on the road.
