Keith didn't hear what the Princess was saying, his mind stuck on a pair of petrified green eyes and angery pink ones from the Galra cruiser.
"Callum, Rayla..."

"Who?" Pidge's voice pulled him out of his thoughts.
Did he say that out loud?
"Callum and Rayla, they're kids of Misfits, also the main reason we attacked the ship we did," Keith answered, hand going to his jacket sleeve.
"Wait kids?" Hunk asked, eyes going wide.

"How do you know it's them?" Allura demanded.
"When Misfits sends the Empire's prisoners out in pods we put a transmitter on the pod. Each transmitter sends out a different type of signal and pattern depending on who placed the transmitter. That one's mine and they're the only ones I got out," Keith answered.
"How old are they?" Hunk asked.
"About six, seven," Keith answered, becoming increasingly more fidgety by the second, wanting to go out and find the kids.

The group froze.
"Princess, I think this would be a good chance to allow the boy to prove himself, if he's lying it would be beneficial for all of us to know, if he's not, perhaps it would be best to apologize, rethink your actions, and heal wounds that were unnecessary, " Coran spoke up.

Keith threw a thankfully look at the older Altean.
"Then they'll need their armor," Allura gestured to the Paladins, her glare at Keith suggesting she was confident they would find Galra soldiers.
This was something Keith ignored.

Keith grabbed his jacket off the floor, disconnecting the wires Pidge had hooked up to before throwing it on and running out the door with the others to the armory. Keith forced himself still watching the door waiting for the other Paladins to finish putting on their armor.

A hand dropped on his shoulder. The raven jumped, instinctively reaching for his knife before seeing Lance.
"Don't worry, they'll be okay," the armored Blue Paladin smiled comfortingly.

"Why are you so sure I'm not lying to you?" Keith asked.
Lance laugh, "Why wouldn't I trust you?"
"There are more reasons not to trust me then the ones you gave," Keith argued, "For all you know Allura could be right about me. You would have just thrown yourself into the Empire's hands for no reason."

"I'd think a spy would argue that they weren't a spy, and we're all obviously new at this, you've had plenty of chances to put your knife to our throats, or more specifically mine, and demand that we hand over the Lions. You haven't. Plus, you're a good person, I can tell," Lance grinned, as Hunk got on his last peice of armor, "Come on, let's go find your kids," he teased.
Keith just nodded, too worried to correct him.

Everyone crammed inside of Blue flying to the pod crash site at Allura's recommendation. Keith being to scared for Rayla and Callum had stopped a fight before it could start by climbing in Blue without question after she'd recommend it.

When they landed as close as the could Keith was the first one out, closely followed by Lance.

The Misfit, leaping and sliding through the broken and bent trees not slowing for a second, Allura going nearly as fast, followed by the others as they picked their way through the destroyed line of woods caused by the pod.

Keith stopped spotting the wreckage. Chunks of metal littered the forest floor. Wires and metal rods hanging out of the bottom of the craft as it lay on its side. The wings bent and dented, one ripped in half.

"Callum! Rayla!" Keith shouted racing to the wreck, "Callum, Rayla, can you hear me!" The raven asked, pulling himself up to the door.
Keith clawed at the door, shoving his knife in the crevice trying to pry it open.

"Red," Lance called throwing the Red bayard to him.
The bayard turning into a four foot blade on contact with his hand. The half Galra sliced the door in half pulling the spit metal panels outwards, sending them crashing to the ground as he jumped inside followed by Lance and Allura.
