Macy wanted some time alone so I let her be and spent some time alone in my room.
I walk over to my bed and check my phone that's charging.
I stare at my phone screen,
Jay 💕😘 "Call me."
I tap the call icon
I swallow my breath, "Hey, what's up?" I say.
"Hey...So where are you right now?" Jay asks.
"I'm at the beach house. Why?" I ask him.
"I swear I just saw the cutest thing." he says.
"Yeah?" I ask curiously.
"Looked like Logan was there with his arm around you." he says.
"What? Where did you see that?"
"Is it true? Why are you with him?"
"I'm not... I mean, not right now. But yeah, he was over here last night. How did you..."
"That's great. Really great." he says sarcastically.
"He uh posted a picture on your page and it tagged you. I just saw it."
"I'll get it figured out. But Jay." I take a breath, "Why are you concerned about this? You and I aren't together anymore." I say.
"You know why. It's Logan." I hear his voice crack, close to nearly breaking.
"Yeah? So, I'll get the picture taken down." I reply. "Look, I can't talk about this right now. And I think maybe you should be more concerned as to why Macy is locked in her room crying right now."
"I can explain..." he tries to explain.
"Sure, you can. Gotta go, bye." I say ending the call.

After I'm done with my call, I text Logan to ask him about the picture
Logan James
"Are you dumb?"
Hi to you too. What's up?
Yeah, hi. You posted a picture of us, Jay saw it. Why would you do that?
Why not?
You two aren't together.
Neither are we.
So, now there's a we?
Did I miss something?
I didn't say that.
Okay, I understand that.
How was your afternoon with Macy?
It was great until Carson stopped by.
Oh?
Turns out Carson's engaged.
Oh.
Um. That's rough.
Yeah. Um so I'll talk to you later then.
Yeah, sounds good.

I'm sitting in my room still trying to process the recent events and decide to call Hudson
"Hey Mace, what's up?" I hear him say.
I reply, "Hey Hudson not too much. Um I just need to talk."
"Okay. Anything specific?"He asks.
"Yeah. My ex Carson."
"O-okay."
"He visited me on vacation. Um just to tell me that he's engaged."
"Wow, Mace. You okay?"
"Not really. It's a lot to um- process. But um- it's just um really good to hear your voice."
"Okay. I wish there was something I could do. I'll see you when you get back okay?"
"Yeah. Yeah. I love you, Hudson."
"I love you, Macy."
"Okay bye."
"Bye."
