Macy POV:
I walk out to the courtyard and surprisingly see Carson sitting on a bench
I walk over trying to keep my distance from him I say,
"Carson! What are you doing here?" I ask surprised.
he looks up at me, "Look Mace, I am so sorry." he says.
I cross my arms, "I don't really want to talk to you."
"I just came here cause she cheated on me. My fiancé." he explains.
"Oh," I say plainly.
"Macy, please don't be like that." he pleads.
He walks up to me and looks at me
He tries to kiss me and I lean in to kiss him but I stop myself,
I take a breath, "Carson. I- I have a boyfriend. I can't."
"What?" he asks.
I shrug, "I can't be with you."
"Even if I forgave you for everything, we uh we still can't be together," I say.
"Well, I'm uh- I'm happy for you then, Mace," he says with uncertainty in his voice,
I smile, "Um thanks,"
"And I really am sorry. I hope everything's okay with you."
"I could never hate you. Even if I convince myself that I do." I finally say.
he smiles and nods, "Okay."
"Yeah. Hah, so I should really go, now..."
I turn around and walk back toward him
I smile, "You know there's really no good reason why we can't be friends... so.... why don't we try that?"
"Yeah, I'd really like that Mace," he replies.
I smile before turning around and walking away again.
When I'm halfway back to my dorm I see a new text on my phone screen
Carson
Friends??
Lol, yeah. Friends.

After my conversation with Carson I convince myself there's another conversation I need to have first. So I take out my phone and type in Hudson

Hey, can we meet up today?
Sure Macy!
Can I come over?
Yeah sure Mace. I'll wait for you.
