"I got it... I got it... I don't got it! Help!"

"Really Jordan... Again?"

I fell hard on the ice, my face landing in a pile of snow. All Erin could do was laugh as me as she gracefully skated over to me.

"You know, it would be a lot easier if you weren't on your ass the entire time," She said with a laugh. I sat up and shook the snow out of my hair and dusted some of it off my clothes. "Can you just help me up?"

She pulled my off the ground with a smile and helped me steady myself so I wouldn't fall over again. "I don't see how someone can snowboard but can't master the art of not falling on their ass." I looked at her, ready to argue, but she was right and all I could do was shrug and laugh.

"Maybe we should take a break from skating for a few minutes," I say rubbing the back of my head. "Oh don't be silly! Look, I'll help you."
She wrapped her hands around mine then gently pulled me back onto the ice then got in front of me with a smile. "Hold on to my shoulders and copy my movements." I nodded and placed my hands on her shoulders.

After feeling me wrap my hands around her shoulders, she slowly moved her feet and I tried my best to copy her but I tripped over my own feet and fell backwards, bringing her down on top of me.

"Really Jordan? Was it really necessary to bring me down with you?" She laughed then pulled herself up as I stayed on the ground blushing like crazy from embarrassment. "S-sorry. Maybe ice skating just isn't my thing."

She looked at me, her red hair dotted with snow and her beautiful eyes sparkling in the moon light, and didn't speak. She just skated over to me, wrapped my hands around her waist and laid her head against my chest, then after we stood like that for a few minutes said, "We don't have to skate. All we have to do is be together and I'll be happy."

I didn't know what to say. I did do one thing though... I grabbed her hand and made my way slowly to the edge of the frozen lake were I sat down and sat her down right beside me. "Thank you for being my friend Erin." I said that even though I knew in my heart we weren't just friends, we were soul mates.

A/N: Well that was day four! I'm really happy with the way this turned out, like this is the best thing I've probably even wrote. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the story!
