Chapter 2: Introductions

All Might lead me through the big school, showing me where everything was. We made it by the time homeroom already started, so we had some time to set up my schedule and locker. They said while I was at school they would move all my stuff into a new dorm. It felt incredible being in the building!

"Most people have already heard of you, so be ready for that. You're the main story on the news and it's been broadcast everywhere, so be cautious." All Might was advising me as he was leading me to the classroom.

"I don't think many people are going to know. It just happened recently. I'm sure no one knows who I am." I reply.

Then All Might slid the door open to my new future.

The man they called Eraser Head or Aizawa was in the middle of lecturing them about the semester when we interrupted them.

"I've come to bring a new student!" All Might announced.

Everyone was shocked and quiet from his rude interruption.

"Oh yes, the last minute entry. She's the one who ranked fourth in the recommendation exam." Aizawa said in his usual bored tone.

"Yes! I introduce to you all Tanaka Ryoko!" He yells again and pushes my back to enter.

The whole class stared, they gave me mixed emotions. Some looked happy, some looked angry, some looked indifferent. i didn't know how to take it.

"Wait! Aren't you the girl on T.V who saved the people downtown?" Yelled a green haired plain looking guy.

"Midoriya." Aizawa said in a threatening tone.

"Yes she is!" All Might replied to Midoriya's question for me.

"You can take a seat Ms. Tanaka." Aizawa said pointing to a desk in the back of the class.

I tried to not seem intimidated by the faces I've seen on T.V during the sports festival. They all kept looking at me until I sat down. It was only when All Might left the room that Aizawa went back to talking.

The day passed super quickly and I had to introduce myself at the beginning of every new class, which was embarrassing. Then, it was lunch, what I was the most scared about.

"Hey! Long time no see Tanaka." Says a familiar voice.

It was Tokoyami! We went to the same elementary and middle school.

"Tokoyami! You Dark Shadow!" I say before he hugged me. That was weird, but I accepted it.

"You've changed a lot since I last saw you." He says.

I shrugged, "Puberty I guess."

We decided to have lunch together, then people I've recognized from class came to join us.

"Tanaka, this is Midoriya Izuku, Uraraka Ochaco and Iida Tenya." Tokoyami introduces me to all three.

"It's nice to meet you all." I smile.

"So, how were you able to defeat the villain? He looked pretty difficult to beat." Asks Midoriya.

I shrugged, "I was able to evaluate his quirk and attack from far. If you really want to see, I think the video is going around." I chuckled at the last part.

"How do you know Tokoyami-kun?" Asks Ochaco very bubbly.

"We're childhood friends, and I used to beat his ass in the playground, every time." I laughed.

"That's only because dark shadow hates light." Tokoyami mumbles embarrassed.

Then, the bell signaled that lunch was over and fifth period was about to start. I walked down the hall with all of them and we just talked. I was glad that I finally made some friends in high school.
