Chapter 5: Provisional License

It's been a week since the rescue training, and nothing has happened. I've been hanging out with the girls more often. I'm more than acquainted with everyone in the class already. I feel like I have finally settled in.

"From now on, everyday after school, for those of you who will be taking the support course for the provisional exam, they'll be a bus to bring you straight to the evening classes and then bring you back to the dorms for the next three weeks before retaking the exam." Aizawa sensei announced. (Based off Season 3, not accounting Season 4)

I was apart of those students. I was granted special privileges because of All Might and my current situation with the fight that seemed a long time ago. I didn't know the ones who failed, I heard it was only two people in this class. Apparently, from Ochaca-chan, she said that they were the strongest in the class. She refused to tell me who they were, which was aggravating.

After heroics that day, I made my way to the bus which was at the front of the school. It was a small bus because we were only three students. When I got on the bus, I was the first one. Principal Nezu himself was the one driving us.

"I am responsible for your safety when you attend anything school related," He told me as he saw my confused look, "You must be Tanaka Ryoko, it's a pleasure to meet the girl who single-handedly defeated a high class villain."

"It's a pleasure to meet you as well." I reply respectfully before sitting near the middle of the bus.

Then, Todoroki boarded the bus. Now that was a surprise. He ranked first in testing and second in the sports festival and holding back! How did he not get his license but Mineta did? It didn't make sense at all.

Then, the next student who boarded was the reason why Ochaco didn't want to tell me. It was no other than Bakugo fucking Katsuki.

Before he could notice I was starring at him, I quickly looked out the window and started daydreaming.

Once we got there, Principal Nezu lead us to this big building in the center of Japan.

"Oh we meet again U.A!" Says this extremely attractive guy from another high school.

I recognized his uniform, he was from Shiketsu High School. Another top-notch hero school in Japan!

"Nice to meet you Todoroki again! Remember, I still don't like you very much." He blurted out before he ran into the building.

"What was that all about?" I asked Todoroki as we were walking into the building.

"We both failed because of each other. I haven't been very nice to him in the past, neither has my father. We quarreled when we supposed to fight a villain together. We were going against each other, which lead to our ultimate failure." He told his story before we entered the classroom.

I decided to sit in the back corner near the window. By the way it looks, the courses will be only lectures. Great.

Then, Bakugou sat beside me.

My heart started pumping a thousand times a minute. Why? He hasn't been near me since he told me he would kiss me again. It felt he was avoiding me, and I was avoiding him. Or was it only me?

Then, the guy from Shiketsu high school sat in front me.

"So, you're the new girl at U.A? I saw what happened, it was awesome how you defeated that villain!" He says excitedly.

"Thanks, but I was only lucky." I say, feeling myself give away as I blushed a little bit.

He finally looked speechless, and he blushed in response, "What's your name?"
