Chapter 8: Fin de la Semana Pt.2

Finally, it was Saturday!

I crammed in my homework from all my classes that morning so I would be able to go on my movie date later. I was so excited! The girls helped me pick out my outfit, a light green foam sundress. Something sweet and innocent, it was perfect. The girls were all in my room this morning, studying with me and we were helping each other out.

"I'm so happy for you Tanaka-chan, I can't to hear all about it when you get back." Says Ochaco as she was working on her algebra.

"Thanks, I'm happy I have you girls with me. I don't know how I would be able to handle all of this without you guys." I say working on my history paper.

It was finally five!

I quickly threw my dress on and got my hair done in a nice messy bun at the top of my head. The girls were so excited, I could feel them hiding around the grounds waiting for my knight in shining armor to pick me up.

It was hard to hold my excitement when I saw him crossing the street towards me.

"Hey, you look really nice in that dress Tanaka." Yoarashi Inasa says looking flustered.

"You look good yourself." I reply to him before we started to walk towards the movie theater.

We exchanged small talk, but what was strange was the topic.

Todoroki.

Yoarashi asked me questions about how he trained, how he reacted in certain situations and about the other students. It was confusing. He didn't want to talk about anything else other than Todoroki. Whenever I tried to change the topic, he seemed distant.

Then, once we got to the theater, he made me pay for my own food and ticket, and his too!

"I forgot my wallet." He said, seeming like he did nothing wrong.

I remember telling him I was poor, but I guess he forgot. So I decided to pay for it anyways and watch the romantic movie.

I expected Yoarashi to make some moves. Like holding my hand, or putting his arms around my shoulders. Nothing. He did nothing. He would whisper sometimes in my ear with more questions about Todoroki. What was so great about him?

After the movie walking home, he asked me more questions about him. Then I stopped him because I was getting extremely annoyed at this rate.

"Why are you asking me so many questions about Todoroki? Do you like him or something?" I blurted which made him stop.

"Well, I was hoping you would help me out, I want to become the number one hero, and he is in my way. He is not fit to be a hero, I need a way to defeat him." He explains, looking desperate for my help.

"Is that the only reason why you talked to me?" I asked enraged.

But his silence was answer enough for me. I slapped him and walked back to the dorms by myself. What was wrong with me? Why do men just want to use me?

I was practically crying once I got my to my room. The girls followed me and was about to ask what happened but they saw my teary eyes. I explained everything, about he was using our relationship as a way to get to Todoroki's weaknesses, etc.

"I need to party." I say as I wiped my tears away.

"Then let's do it!" Yelled Ochaco.

"The only place I know where we should party is downtown. We can go over to my house and get ready, I have all my party clothes there." I say, looking through my closet.
