The next day, nobody seemed to treat me different. I was glad.

"So is she like another living being inside you?" Jirou asked.

I nodded, "Verity is the dragon who gives me my power. Just like Tokoyami's dark shadow. Except my dragon weakness isn't light."

"What is your weakness then?" Mina asked.

"That's something for you find out." I tell her before finishing breakfast and heading to class.

Walking felt strange, sure I was with the girls, but there was something off. I decided to look behind me.

Bakugo was not too far behind me. He looked away once I noticed.

Once we were in class, whenever there was an opportunity to look away from the teacher, Bakugo turned to stare at me. It was weird, usually he would just stay quiet. He would never bring attention to himself and I during class. He never communicated with me in front of others.

When it was lunch, I felt him sit near me and my friends. He never sat near me, he used to avoid me like the plague, now he feels like my stalker. He never sat outside of his friend group, so I was surprised when he did and just looked at me.

What was going on with him?

"For today's training, you will be tested on your trust with others. How much do you go to save your friends and potential coworkers." Aizawa started, "I will group you in pairs, the scenario, one will be the hero and the other the captured hero. The primary hero will have to go up against one of our teachers. If you can free your fellow hero, then you both can try to fight our teacher, or go solo."

"This is exactly like midterms, this is crazy!" I overheard Mineta complain.

"Do you want to be a hero? Then surpass us." Aizawa replied to his comment before he went to assign us our partner.

"Bakugo and Tanaka." He said first.

Surprisingly, he wasn't too far away from me. I always liked his hero costume, the way his shirt was tight enough to see all his built muscle and his biceps exposed. His mask and grenades looked menacing and intimidating for anyone wanting to go up against him.

"Are you ready bird?" He blurted which made me return to reality.

"For the last time, I'm not a bird." I replied before making my way to the evaluation room with the others to wait our turn.

Our teacher for this evaluation was Cementoss, this shouldn't be too bad.

"Hey, good luck against him Kacchan, Sato and I couldn't defeat him together." Kirishima warned us.

"That's because you're not as strong as me weird hair, and who said you can call me that?" He barked angrily.

"Why is it okay for Deku to say it? I thought you hated the guy." Kirishima complained.

"I do hate him, he gets on my nerves all the time! He means nothing to me!" Bakugo yelled at him.

"You say that, but you let him call you that and nobody else. It's hypocritical." Kirishima laughed, knowing he's getting on Bakugo's nerves.

Out of all my time here, I never realized he had such a huge hatred for Deku. I guess I missed out on a lot the first semester.

"Do you want to die weird hair?" He barked.

"Dude chill, I'm just playing with you. Losing control like this isn't manly." Kirishima backs away.

"Next up, Bakugo and Tanaka." Aizawa announced.
