Chapter 20: Finale

I was hospitalized for two weeks, I got frequent visits from my classmates and brother. My side was recovered but there would be some scarring. All in a days works of a hero!

Bakugo came the most frequently to visit me. He would bring little gifts every day. He gave me assorted chocolates, flowers, plushies, you name it! He bought something for all fourteen days he visited me.

"So babe, are you happy about being discharged tomorrow?" Bakugo asked.

I smiled, "Of course! I can attend classes again. I have a lot to catch up on."

"I'm sure you'll be fine. I'll help you too, don't go asking anybody else." He grumbled.

I laughed, "You're too cute when you want me."

"I'm not cute. I'm hot, there's a difference." He argues.

"Oh, I'm sorry you egotistic ass." I teased him.

"Why you little-"

"Sorry to interrupt your declarations of love!" Fumikage walked into my room, "But I have a little something for my little sister."

He gives me a small box wrapped in wrapping paper. I took my time opening it up to see it was a jewelry box, I opened it to reveal a charm bracelet. There was three charms on it already, a family charm, a dragon charm and a black flame.

"Now you can collect a whole bunch of them. Happy Birthday little sis." He said before hugging me.

"What? It's your birthday? Since when?" Bakugo asked panicked.

"Since tomorrow." I answered him, "I love it, it's beautiful Fumikage." I turned back to my brother.

"Well, I'm glad you like it." He smiled.

"I better go, I need to give you a proper birthday. Jeez why do you have to be such a dumb ass and tell me so last minute? Ugh!" He says before he contradicts his anger by kissing my forehead sweetly and running out of my hospital room.

My brother pulled a chair closer to my bed, "He's an interesting one isn't he?"

"Yep, but he's mine." I added.

He chuckled, "I just hope he doesn't break your heart again."

"I don't think he will this time, he's seems committed. He's changed a lot from the first time we met." I defended Bakugo.

Fumikage ruffled my hair, "Just be careful alright?"

"No promises." I laughed.

When I was discharged, Bakugo met me outside the hospital and we walked back to school together. I was surprised when he made the first move to hold me hand. I couldn't help but blush.

"So have you figured out what to do for my birthday like you wanted?" I asked.

He shrugged, "Oh it's your birthday? Happy Birthday I guess."

Something smelled fishy, and it wasn't the sewers, "Right."

I was happy once we finally reached the dormitories and be with my friends again. There was nobody around the commons area at first when we entered, but then everyone jumped from their hiding place.

"Surprise!" They screamed.

Bakugo leaned down to my ear, "Happy Birthday babe."

They held All Might balloons, All Might banners, anything All Might Birthday themed. It was hilarious.

"Ryoko! Happy Birthday!" Ochaco came up to me, "We didn't know it was your birthday, but thankfully Deku had some of these All Might decorations in his room."

"Yeah." Deku mumbled all embarrassed.

"Let's get this party started!" Mina cheered before music started playing in the background and we celebrated.

We did all the traditional birthday events. Sato made the cake and Mina created a dance party. It was probably one of the best birthdays I ever had. Once everyone was just talking and it was getting late, Bakugo hugged me from behind.

"Babe, I have something to show you." He said with his raspy voice.

I nodded in response and I escaped with him over to his room. Once he closed the door behind him and pulled out a small jewelry box from his pocket.

"This is for you." Bakugo handed it to me.

I took it and hopped on his bed before opening it. It was a little charm of a grenade.

"Now you can always have a piece of me wherever you go, because I know you can't live without me." Bakugo had a tone of cockiness.

When he jumped on the bed beside me I shoved him lightly. He took the wrist where my bracelet was and attached the charm for me.

"I love it." I said to him as I gave it a closer look.

"Good. It would be bad if you didn't." He replied.

I kissed him lightly, "Thank you."

"Now, time for my reward." He smirked before pushing me down and the bed and climbed on top of me.

"It's always got to be about you huh?" I laughed.

"Of course, I'm going to be the number one hero. Soon, I'm going to be what everyone's talking about. I'll be successful, you'll see." He said passionately before holding me close, "I love you Ryoko."

"I love you too Katsuki."

And we kissed the night away.

Author's note: That is the official end of this story. This has truly been an incredible adventure . I got the original idea back in 2017, but I decided to rewrite the whole thing and it turned out better than I expected. Tanaka Ryoko was my first ever OC and I'm so proud of her and what she has become throughout my writing. If you want more content of this OC, I will post two small bonus chapters. As well, open up a lemons collection for these two. So what would happen if this story was more mature in certain parts.

My goal in the future is to as well make a second book of this OC in the future exploring their futures when they become pro heroes. If you are interested please let me know and it will be released sooner if it is requested.
