Chapter Five: Monked Out

I sigh too. She says, "don't worry..."
I nod.
"Here we got you both stuff," Mary says handing Morgana a bag.
"Thanks."
I smile. Alex walks in and says, "please say y'all have a tent because I am not sleeping in no teepee!"
Morgana tries but fails to hold back a laugh. I giggle. Oh shit, we don't have a tent.
"We don't have a tent we usually sleep in a teepee though."
"I don't do bugs."
"There's usually not bugs in the teepee it's also really warm!"
"You just don't understand the standards I have."
Morgana face palms.
"What?"
"If I get you a tent, will you stop?" She asks.
"Yes!" He replies. I giggle. She gets up. Maybe I should go with her. I go with her. She turns and jumps.
"Don't do that!" She hisses, her cat tail swishing.
"S—Sorry."
"Just don't do it again..."
I nod and look down.
"Sorry but you did scare the shit outta me."
"I didn't mean to."
"That's why I apologized."
I sigh. She does as well then says, "come on sooner we get there sooner we get back."

Mariah's POV

"Hey?" Alex asks softly.
"What?"
"The wolf... why is it so human?"
I sigh sadly.

Flashback

Where is Ryan and Scar? I know our wolf was sick but why did Ryan leave with him? I look down. I should find him! I grab my small bow and quiver and running. Huh? The weirdo forest guy?
"Now I can heal your little wolf but it's at a price."
"Please!" I hear Ryan beg, "I'd do anything. My sister loves Scar."
"All right, all right."
I peek to see what's going on.
"Now draw a card any card."
Ryan picks an orange card, he shakes his head.
"What? My head feels fuzzy..."
What's happening to him?!?! Scar disappears. He looks around.
"Scar? Where is he you tricking ba—ungh..."
He starts panting as his tongue, it changes? Where did Scar go?!?!? Oh god. Creak! Oh my god! He has wolf ears!! H—He's turning into a wolf! Flooomp! ShhhrRip! A tail!
"What are you doing to me? Why do I feel so hot?"
I start silently crying. Wait a minute... that fur color! It's just like Scar's! He turns and sees me as fur rips up his favorite shirt. I look down.
"I—Arf! Loooove yoooooou!" I hear him howl.
"I—I love you too."
I look up. Oh my god! He looks like Scar! H—He's Scar now! I pick him up and I start crying. He smiles. I look down.

Flashback ends

I start crying. Alex hugs me.
"I'm sorry I caused you to cry!!"
"I—It's okay."
He hugs me tighter. I continue crying. He starts crying.
"W—Why are you crying?"
"You're crying!"
"You shouldn't cry because I'm crying."
"I'm sad for you!"
"You don't even know why I'm sad."
"No... but I care!"
"W—Why?"
"I care."
I cry into his chest. He pats my back. I stop crying finally. He shifts slightly.
"S—Sorry." I get off of him.
"No! No! It's fine."
"R—Really?"
He nods.
"But you seemed uncomfortable."
"No... I was just trying not to sleep."
I nod. I take off my heels and I lay on him. I fall asleep.

The next morning.

I wake up to movement and growling.
"Ahhh! Don't eat me!!!"
I look around. Scar has Alex in a neck choke.
"Scar stop!"
He does.
"What did you do to make him so mad at you?" I ask Alex.
"I don't know I just woke up!" He sobs. I sigh. I pet Scar. He nuzzles me. I giggle. Alex smiles softly. I smile back. He blushes. I blush too. Scar jumps between us. I giggle. He growls.
"Scar, what's wrong with you?"
He looks at Alex.
"You don't like Alex?"
He scratches date then puts a no.
"Oh you don't want me and Alex to date."
He nuzzles me. I sigh. Alex looks sadly away.
"Why don't you want me to date him?" I ask Scar. He howls.
"I—I don't understand why you don't want me to date him. He's really sweet and he tried comforting me while I was crying."
He howls again probably is something he is trying to say but because he's a dog he can't. I look down.
"I've heard of a wizard. Maybe she could help with this dogs problem!"
I nod.
"Okay where is this wizard?"
"Iced plains!"

Alice's POV

We'll need someone like that... but it's a far journey... I sigh.
"Take us to this wizard!" Mariah says to Alex. He nods.
"Let's go!"
Mariah picks up Scar. We start walking. Oh god!! I look around. We're surrounded by monsters. Where did they come from?!?! Suddenly a fireball hits the ground around us. Mary whimpers and hits the ground. I look around. A super hot wizard and a dorky warlock looking guy. Wow are they gonna save us? The warlock drops to the ground his arm on fire. I look away. He gets up then summons a demon. The demon is scary! It chokes the rest of the monsters. Wow they saved us!
"My arm..."
I sigh. Mary stumbles to her feet. I look around. She heals his arm. I sigh.
"Styx! What the f? You almost made me lose an arm!"
"So?"
I giggle.
"I need both to summon a demon and control it without harming innocents."
"So?"
"You understand nothing."
Maybe I should use the thingy. What is it called? Mmm now's not the time. I sigh. I take it out and use it. A voice says, "Mordor
Chaotic good: considered chaotic only because he summons demons."

"A very, very kind soul but thanks to his curse his magic became the ability to summon demons."

"It called me adorable!" He says giving a very kawii face. I giggle.
"Very innocent. Also has a jackass brother."
"That an opinion be careful with opinions!" He cries. I sigh. He is so cute!! I giggle.
"Do all of you have the magic thingamabobbers?"
I shrug.
"Only she—" Mary starts.
"I do!" Drew cries. I look at him. He smiles. I look at him. He looks at me and pulls out a matching one.
"It's the reason I joined you!"
I nod. He blushes. I giggle. He nuzzles me. I look away blushing. He kisses my cheek. I smile. He smiles back. Oh shit! Mordor!
"Monster!"
"Foot!" He cries before hitting the ground. A monk flies at the monster. Wow! He sits up to knocked out.
"Stupid warlocks summoning monsters."
I look away.

Mariah's POV

Is she going to say something? He did nothing wrong! She doesn't say anything. Guess I should!
