Chapter Eight: a Special Snowflake

I sigh.
"Come it's about to begin!"
I nod. I follow them. We head to a large Colosseum. It's so huge and pretty! I see the little girl from earlier. I look away.
"Hello!" Her sweet voice shouts over the Colosseum. I sigh. Everyone is looking up at her. I look at her too.
"Do we have any first time visitors to the festival? Raise your hands don't be shy!"
I don't do anything. Drew raises my hand for me.
"Really?" I whisper to him. He smiles cutely. I look down. He kisses my cheek. I giggle.  He nuzzles me. Topex starts walking towards the place where Queen Frostine is standing. I sigh. He walks back smiling with a strange smile. I lean on Drew. I fall. Drew? He's unconscious! Why is he unconscious?!?! Wait so is Mary, Daniella, and everyone else he walked past besides me. He catches my glance. His face turns to, "oh shit!"
What just happened?!?! The paladin looks at him narrowing his eyes. I try to wake Drew up.
"The only way to wake him is with the scent of the antidote..."
"Okay, what is the antidote?"
He pulls out a strange golden liquid Scar, Mariah, and Alex start to wake. He puts it back up. I sigh. He laughs. The paladin blinks heavily before passing out.
"What is going on?"
He chuckles but doesn't say anything. I look away. Alex gives a sleepy groan as Scar sits up.

Mariah's POV

Topex chuckles and looks at Scar then back at me.  W—Why is he looking at me like that?
"Since you like your Lil' wolf so much why don't you try being half!"
"No!" Alex cries. He slams me beside him. The spell hits him.
"Unugh?" He says before collapsing.
"Alex!"
"Mmmmmmmmmmm!" He says before moaning. Creeeeeak! H—he has wolf ears. I look down sadly. Shhhhhhhhrip! Pooooof! I look to see what just happened. Big puffy tail! I start crying.
"Nooooooooooo doooooooooooon't cry!" He says before panting. I continue crying. He whimpers. I feel something short nuzzle my neck. I look to see what it is. A—Alex! Slobbering like a puppy! I look away still crying. He whimpers and nuzzles me. I continue crying.
"Do you want him to be more dog like?"
I shake my head no.
"Hello? I guess you do... you aren't answering."
"N—No."
He's already a werewolf! I continue crying. I feel myself shivering but I can't move anyways plus what's the point Alex is— I feel a paw shove me. I look around. Alex! Another spell hits him. I look away. He collapses onto his paws moaning? Bloooomp! I look to see what just happened. What are those on his chest? I start crying again.
"Noooooooo dooooooooon't cry!"
I continue crying. He moans loudly. Bloooooooomp! Those are boobs!!
"Mmmm wait? My voice!"
I continue crying. I—I can't believe I'm gonna lose him! Suddenly a blast hits him. He turns completely back to normal but is shirtless allowing me to look at those sexy, sexy abs. I blush. He sits up weakly.  I look away.
"Hi."
I hug him. He chuckles then hugs back. I giggle. Scar howls.
"But what if I do kiss'er?"
I blush. He howls.
"Ha! You don't even have hands."
Oh my god... it sounds like two brothers. I giggle. He nuzzles me. I lay my head on his shoulder. But who did that blast? I look around. Queen Frostine jumps off the podium surrounding all the sleeping people. Did she do it?
"Mhm! Of course I did!"
Wait she can read minds?
"Yep!"
I nod. She smiles.
"Thanks!"
"No problem!"
I smile. A blast hits her. She sways then falls asleep. Alex stumbles to his feet.
"We have to handle this mess!!!"
I nod.  He pulls out a small sword. Alice pulls out her daggers. Alex looks nervous. I pull out my bow. Alex charges at Topex only to be knocked into a bench. I shoot an arrow at him. It hits him but he doesn't take much notice to it.  Alice throws daggers at him. One hits and the other he catches. She looks down. He laughs and throws it at her. She closes her eyes. It hits Drew.
"Drew!" She shouts. He bolts awake then groans from the wound. She looks down. He heals himself. She hugs him. He smiles weakly. She smiles back. I look down. Alex once again goes to attack him. I look away. Topex laughs. Alex runs over to me. I hug him. He hugs back. Then collapses. I look down. He winces. I sigh. I finally see. His leg is twisted. I start crying. He lays down.
"I'll be fine... we gotta stop him!"
"I—I don't know how! I tried my bow and it did nothing!"
Alex points to the golden bottle.
"You want me to grab it?"
He nods. I sneak over to grab it. But it wasn't very stealthy and I can't get the bottle out of the loop. Whelp I tried. I hear Mordor mumble sleepily. I look at him. He wakes up. I look down. I hear a groan. I look over to the groan. Mordor has tackled and stabbed Topex with the arrow. He's finally defeated! He backs up.
"Ahhahahahahahahahahaha it's not over yet!"
I back up. Topex backs up off the ledge. He transforms into a giant black dragon. Oh my god! How are we ever gonna defeat him?!?! Mordor suddenly collapses.
"M—my head!"
I look at him. Giant white wings rips from his back. He knocks the bottle of gold liquid by me. I open it. Mary, the queen, and the paladin wake up. Everyone else is still asleep. I sigh. I hear a loud cry. I look around. Mordor is now a white dragon. I look away.
"You jerk! You hurt people!"
I wish there was someway to stop him! Topex slashes Mordor's arm causing him to scream Topex falls and they start fighting in a headlock. I look away. I hear someone yell, "Paladin Emmanuel now!"
I look back to see What's happening. The queen is floating and using magic. The paladin stabs a huge sword into Topex. Please tell me he's finally defeated!
"Please we need you to shoot an arrow into his eyes!" I hear her shout. I do it. Topex turns back into a guy then to dust. Mordor catches the paladin. I sigh. Flooooosh! What just happened? I turn. The queen has fixed Alex's leg. I smile. He smiles back. She floats over to Drew and heals the wound there. I go back over to Alex.
"I told you," he says softly. We watch as she heals Mordor and places a jewel in his hand causing him to slowly Change back into the normal human form we're used to. I sigh.  She takes the bottle from me. She grabs the paladin's arm then teleports back up to the platform. I sigh. Everyone wakes up.
"Okay after that interruption! Let the festival begin!"
The people leave all but the twelve of us. I hug Alex. Scar whimpers. Oh my gosh! I totally forgot about him! I look down. The queen gives a confused smile. I pick Scar up.
"I can fix him."
"Really?"
She nods.
"Put him on the ground and I'll split them."
I put him on the ground. She does something. Scar at first splits into two dogs then the second one turns into Ryan. He smiles weakly before coughing uncontrollably. She does another spell. He falls asleep. I smile.
"T—Thanks."
I pick up Scar.
"Paladin Emmanuel, do you mind taking him to the palace to rest?"
"Of course, my Queen."
Wait! Why is he taking Ryan to the palace?
"Why?"
"All of you will stay in the palace with me."
I nod. The paladin leaves with my brother.
"Go on and enjoy the festival. It's only here today!" She cries happily.
I nod. We enjoy the festival. Alex smiles and says, "I'm gonna win you the biggest teddy!"
I giggle. "Okay!"
He manages to and they hand me a pink bear.

Alice's POV

Drew nuzzles me. I giggle. He hands me a thing of cotton candy and a bear. I smile.
"Thanks!"
"No problem."
We look out seeing the moon rising. He blushes and looks at me. I look at him.
"Will you date me?"
He kisses my lips. I turn it into a French kiss. He blushes heavily but lets me. I giggle.

Mariah's POV

We head to the palace. I see Ryan. He looks at Alex and says, "you're Alex........."
I look down. He forces a smile before saying, "Just take care of my sister."
