Alice's POV

I wake up to the village leader.
"You are welcomed back anytime... are you sure you wish to go on this?"
I nod. He sighs. I look down.
"Okay, child, your stuff... I got together for you."
"Thanks."
"It is nothing."
I smile. He smiles back then hands me an adventure's bag. I take it and leave. Okay, maybe I should've asked for a companion... I run into a bear. Yep I definitely should've asked for a companion!
"Hello!" A voice says. I look towards the voice. Holy shit, the bear just talked... time to fucking light that bitch up! I use firestorm. He screams and starts running. He turns into a guy brown hair, green eyes with vines as clothes.
"Wait, wait!"
I back up.
"Please don't kill me!" He cries.
"W—Who are you?"
"I'm Drew... I'm a Druid... sorry I forgot I had transmutated."
"I—I thought you were going to kill me that's I why I used the spell."
"I was trying to be friendly... I don't even know what I was."
"Well you were  bear so I thought you were the opposite of friendly."
"Figured as such."
I look down.
"Anyways, what's your name?"
"Alice."
"So, what are you?"
"I'm a sorcerer."
"Do you mind me asking how you got your powers?"
Huff... might as well tell him.
"It's a family curse passed down from my distant ancestors."
"Oh... I'm sorry!"
I nod.
"Um, well... maybe I can travel with you."
First, he needs a shirt those abs are going to make someone moan.
"You need a shirt first."
"Um okay..."
He grows a vine. Then we go. He makes it into a shirt along the way.
"How do I look?"
"Great!"
He smiles cutely. I giggle. He's kinda cute.
"Hey um... I know some of the other types from around here."
I nod.
"So, um, what do you have on you?"
"I don't know."
"Well let's look!"
I nod. We look to see what I have on me.
I find a strange ball, some rations, two daggers, and my quarterstaff. I put them back in.
"Hey! Do you know what the ball is?" He asks, getting a cute smile.
"No I don't."
"My mom had one of those... it's called represent orb... if you take a picture of someone you can get information on things like their stated alignment, class, age, name, preferred weapon, and if they serve a deity which one they serve."
I nod. He smiles. It's getting late though.
"It's getting late."
He nods, looks around, then says, "the tavern is too far off to make it before nightfall but I'm really good at making lean-to's."
I nod. I shiver, "it's kinda cold out too."
He nods and says, "don't worry it won't take too long!"
He starts growing a circular thing of sticks that fall down making a medium sized teepee.
"Wow that was fast!" I go inside of it. It's not really a lean to but it's warm and dry.
"Aren't you gonna come in, too?"
"Yeah sorry."
"It's okay, you were just standing outside looking awkward."
He smiles cutely, "I know."
I giggle then I scoot over to make room for him. He sits down. I lay down. His stomach growls. So does mine. I get us some food out. He looks at it cutely. I give him some then I eat some.
"Thank you!" He says cutely. Mmm this is really good. I giggle. I then yawn. He yawns too. I fall asleep.

The next morning

I wake up.
"Morning!"
"Morning!" I stretch. I turn. Oh my god... he's a dog.
"W—Why are you a dog?"
He looks down.
"I didn't know that I was a dog."
"Well you are." I say as I take out my makeup and I do my makeup. He changes back to normal.
"Do you just turn into random animals without knowing it?" I ask while doing my mascara.
"Sometimes... sometimes, I forget that I was something like what happened yesterday."
I giggle.
"Wow," I say as I put my makeup up because I'm done. I put on my heels, I give him something to eat, and eat myself.
"These are delicious, by the way."
I smile and nod. Then I hear a loud crash of thunder. I jump and hug Drew scared.
"It's okay, it's just thunder."
"I—I know, but it was so loud!"
He smiles, "I'll protect you."
I giggle. He smiles again.
"Come on."
I nod. I get up. He smiles and leads me to a small town. I look around. There are a lot of people despite the size.
"Wow, why are we here?"
"We'll find people here."
I nod.
"Where do you wanna start?"
I shrug.
"Okay... um... uh... I don't know either, so, um, I don't know," he says. I sigh. He looks around. His eyes land on something. He asks, "you hungry?"
I nod. He smiles and points to a tavern. I smile and we go in. There isn't that many people here surprisingly. I look around compared to outside this place is almost empty.
"Wow there is barely anyone here!" I whisper to him. He nods surprised himself. I sigh. He looks around.
"I haven't been to many taverns but I know they aren't usually this empty," he whispers. I nod.
"Maybe people just don't like the tavern."
"Maybe."
A woman walks over.
"Hello, would you like something to eat?"
I nod.
"What would you like to eat?"
"I want ice cream."
"I'll have some fruit if you have it," Drew says awkwardly. I sigh. He looks over. I look at him. He smiles. The girl leaves. He sighs.
"What?"
"Just not used to this... people tend to not like me..."
"Oh why's that?"
"I'm a Druid..."
"Well I like you. I think you're really sweet and funny."
He smiles softly, "Thanks."
I smile back.
