Chapter three: Bardic Rogue

I nod.
"H—he saved me... and taught me the ways of clergy..."
I nod.
"So why are you here then?" I ask as I take off my heels and I rub my feet because they hurt.
"I went to study a monastery... but they dug into my bag... and they started chasing me down... I have most of them hidden in my bra. But I was willing to give most of them up. They wanted me dead because of it..."
I nod. We hear something. Druid boy is now a cat...I giggle. Alice is basically using him as a pillow. Mary shivers. But with her very ripped clothes I'm not surprised...I sigh. I think I have a blanket in my bag. I give her a blanket. She weakly wraps it around her. Poor thing...I sigh. She falls asleep ending up on Scar, who gives me a h no face. I giggle and pet him. You know what... this wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be.
"Are you okay?" I whisper to Scar. He nods.
"Good." I put my heels back on.

The next morning

Alice wakes up. She sits up.
"Oh my god, he's a cat now!" She says. Mary wakes up. Alice wakes Drew up.
"Nya? Nya? Am I a cat?"
Alice nods. He changes back. I sigh.
"Are you going to leave me here?" Mary asks softly.
"No."
"Okay."
She manages to stumble to her feet. She pulls out the gemstones. Alice does her makeup and once she's done she gets up too. She hasn't even noticed the twenty thousand dollars sitting in front of her.
"Where did you get all of that from?" She asks.
"My bra's getting uncomfortable."
I nod. Well you stuffed gemstones in there. Oh I think she just wants to empty them out to give us!
"Then why don't you take the gemstones out?"
She looks over. Oh yeah... there's a guy... I don't think she really wants to maneuver her bra with a guy around. I wouldn't. I sigh. He seems confused. Alice giggles at him. Is she going to tell him to leave for a minute?"
She tells him to leave for a minute. Mary sighs in relief. She pulls her bra forwards. Over one hundred gemstones fall from it.
"Thank you."
"No problem," she says. She goes get Drew. She's missing four of them...
"Aren't you missing four of them?"
She pulls her hair down. Four gems.
"I will sell but these four... they were my mom's... the rest can burn in h for all I care," she says starting to cry. I nod. Alice and Drew come back.
"Wh—where did those come from?" Drew asks. She turns red. "You don't want to know!" Alice whispers to him.
"Okay?"
"I'm going to shower if you girls need soap we have it," she says awkwardly. We nod. Actually I should shower too...
"I'm gonna shower too."
"I am too!" Alice says. We head down to a river. She takes off her ripped gown. Oh my god... her scars. I look away. We bathe in the river. Mmmm her soap smells good!
"Can I use your soap?" I ask. She nods. I use her soap so does Alice. Oh my god! I wonder where Scar went? I haven't seen him in awhile! Krrrrsplasssssh!
"Ahhh!" Mary squeals. I giggle. Splash! I look up. Where'd Mary go?!? Scar is biting on something blonde and paddling madly.
"Scar, what are you doing?"
He whimpers hard.
"What is it?"
Oh my god, it's Mary.
"What is going on?"
He drags her to shore. She's unconscious.
"What happened?"
He whimpers.
"Did she drowned?"
Almost I think. I sigh. Me and Alice walk out of the river. We put our dresses back on and our heels back on. She finally wakes up and coughs up a crap ton of water.
"Are you okay?"
She nods weakly. Alice goes look for Drew. She changes and we catch up. Scar jumping into my arms. I giggle. We get onto Drew. We ride into a town. We are met by two weird looking guards.

Alice's POV

These aren't really guards. Who are they? This must be the town of thieves!!
"T—This must be the town of thieves!" I whisper to Drew. He spreads it through the rest of he group.
"Give us twenty gold pieces dollars and we'll let you pass."
I look at the other.
"Let us through, they are with me," a voice calls. The guy freezes. Then opens the door. I smile. We ride through. I go to thank the person. A tiefling! A tiefling helped us?
"Give me four of those diamonds..."
Figures she wants something in return...
"But I got you past the guards and I wanna little profit to give to the kid's home here... no one takes care of them."
I look at the others. Mary pulls out four.
"Thanks... come on I know someone who will buy them..."
We follow her. We see a bard.
"Bro, where's shopkeeper?"
"I don't know he's gone all day... I wanted to buy a flute!"
"A flute? You have enough instruments!"
I giggle.
"Yes but what's one more?"
"Huff..."
I sigh. She disappears.
"Where'd she go!?!?!"
I shrug.
"I'm Alex..."
"I'm Alice."
"Drew!"
"I'm Mary..."
"And I'm Mariah."
"Hi puppy!"
Scar lunges at him making him hide behind Mariah.
