"Aleisha I'm serious. You two need to stop being foolish."

"How are we being foolish mommy. I said something and he reacted to it so he left."

"So what? Every time y'all say something the other don't like, y'all going to leave. What kind of relationship is that."

"Apparently the one I'm always in. Look, August at this point is doing as he pleases while I'm here waiting on this child to come. I should have seen this coming but I didn't so I'm in this."

"Well maybe you two shouldn't be together then. If y'all can't have a decent conversation."

Watching my mother walk off into her room, I sighed. Since we got back home, she's been on my case about August and I.

I don't understand why its so hard for people to see where I'm coming from. Its like they all assume that I'm being like this purposely.

Sitting on the floor in the livingroom, I did some light stretches. More and more I was feeling the weight of the baby on my back especially and it was crazy.

"Mommy!" I heard in a sing song way.

Smiling, instantly, I tried to get up but it was too much.

"Druex its open!" I yelled back.

As they came in, Amirah came running towards me.

"You have been out all day lovey." I kissed all over her.

"Daddy took me to the aquarium. Then we went to the big trampoline and jumped and then."

"I get you. You had fun huh?"

"Uh huh." She nodded excitedly.

"Did she eat already?" I looked over at Druex while Amirah gently pressed on my belly.

This was her way of playing with the baby. One time I showed her how he or she was moving and it showed and since then she pressed to see the movement.

"What the hell Alei?" Druex exclaimed.

"What?"

"Why is Amirah doing that?"

"She's interacting with her sibling."

"Yea but that looks."

His facial expression was so funny,I couldn't help but laugh.

"But yea, she ate. Just to bathe and bed."

"No bed please. Not yet." She turned to us.

"You didn't get a nap today babe and I'm not trying to deal with your grumpiness when it sets in."

Pouting she just looked at me and her father. This was what she did when she couldn't have her way with one of us.

"Is that my ladybug I'm hearing."

"Mommy can you give her her bath for me please, I'll put her to bed."

"Sure."

"Go ahead with your grandmother." I patted her on her but.

Still pouting, she walked off slowly. Once it was just Druex and myself, I asked him to help me up and sat on the couch.

"Thanks again for today. She honestly misses you."

"Nah, don't thank me. She's my daughter and I need to be in her life. I miss her too."

Nodding, I took some of my water and relaxed.
