Paridhi could feel the anger radiating off the body of the man accompanying Sandy. Judging by their uncanny physical resemblance, one could easily tell they were father and son. If not father, then a close relative.
She was looking at the duo with color drained from her face. Whether it was the coldness from earlier or was it fear of her father, but she started shaking slightly.
Be strong. It's not you who almost raped someone.
"Angela" her father cold voice shook the confidence she was gathering. She looked to find him demanding explanation through his eyes. It was her alpha. Even as a human, she could feel it in her soul, mind and body. Human or wolf, she was under his protection - the alpha of the largest pack of wolves in the world.
"He tried to rape someone" Paridhi said it in a breath, not losing the eye contact but her body showing respect and loyalty. Dazed she noticed the vein in his forehead twitching.
"And how does that concern you in anyway. It wasn't you getting raped, was it?" the old man snarled at her. The spit flying from his mouth with every word.
Paridhi gaped at him. Anger coursing through her body. No wonder, that swine was his son. She wanted nothing more to tear this old vile geezer. Apple doesn't fall far from tree.
"Dismissed" commanded the alpha. Although the command was for his daughter but his sharp cold eyes fixed at the father son duo with burning intensity. Even Sandy and his father could feel the temperature dropping in the room. As a person of influence, the old geezer has met people of all walk, but something about this man was dangerous. His aura was very powerful. It was getting harder for him by each second to hold his gaze. Sandy already has beads of sweat shining on his forehead and was twitching ever so slightly in his seat but his arrogance was too big to act docile in front of anyone.
Paridhi could see them failing miserably in their act. She wanted to stay more and explain the whole situation to her father but trusted his judgement about the fishy people here.
As Paridhi exited the office. She saw Jake with two more buff men walking towards the Office. Nodding at them, she walked down the hall with few things in mind.
