Hey guys!
*************HAPPY DUSHHERA!!***********
How have you been?
I hope all well. ;)
I’m in a good mood today cause first it’s a holiday and my mother is chirpy since afternoon.
She’s so much in a good mood that she even said “You’ll get kicked by someone” when I thought out loud, “I wish I was a dog” on seeing two cute puppies tackling each other on ground.
Ironically funny.
Come on she could have said along the lines ‘You’ll be cute’ or something nice. But I got a sarcastic mother.
Anyways
Chapter dedicated to @khushiSingh for celebrating her grand comeback on Wattpad :) :D
Here you go guys!! :D
Previously in Bond between the Splits :-
Climbing out of the ambulance, I kept watching the retreating ambulance until it was out of sight.
‘For god sake, she’s hardly eighteen’ I screamed in my head looking up in the sky and tried to find any figure hiding in the white clouds up in the beautiful blue sky that resembled God.
There was no one above!
I was never an atheist but I think Gods have left us alone to cry on our own misery.
CHAPTER 20 - KNOCKED
I was lost in my inner battle over inhumanity and gods. Remembering every mythical stories of god saving innocent people from monsters that mum had told me when I was a kid and then it hit me.
‘God will send someone to help you if he couldn’t come himself.’ I have heard this line like million times from her but I hardly believe in it. I can’t make myself to do because nobody came to protect me when…..
Sighing I wiped away the old memories, most of them are blurred to me; it hardly make sense to me for feeling miserable over those things.
Making my feet move, I trudged forward. My whole body feels heavy as if I can’t bear my own weight but I kept walking without paying attention to my surroundings. Though I subconsciously knew where I’m going. It’s like I have map to my house imprinted in my brain.
Was I an angel to Olivia? I asked myself furrowing my brows.
I saved her. And according to mother God send angels to rescue good people.
