Chapter 6

The whole week Sehun's been driving me insane. He doesn't exactly know it either, or maybe he does and is doing it on purpose, but it's making me go crazy. Ever since my first day here he's been sending me mixed signals about being gay or not. It's not like you can just ask someone if the are gay or not because it could easily offend them.

I swore that I felt his hand move over my bottom the other day but I can't be sure because we were in a packed elevator. He also did wink at me when he was leaving Mr. Vins party but that could have been a "keep quite about the card" wink or something more then that. Maybe I'm just reading into this more than I should be, he was with a girl the other day, but I can't be sure if that was even his girlfriend or not.

"Earth to Luhan?" Suho laughs as we sit in the break room and eat our lunch.

"Sorry." I awkwardly chuckle as I rub the back of my neck."What did you say?"

"Nothing, you just looked out of it." He chuckles as he bites into his sandwich. "Aren't you going to eat?"

"No, I'm not hungry." I didn't ever think that I wouldn't be hungry, I usually always am but I'm to distracted to be.

"That's a first." He laughs.

"Luhan." I hear from behind me.

I turn to see Sehun standing next to me looking down at me like always. His hair is messy like he just rolled out of bed, threw his uniform on and came.

But it looks so good.

"Yeah?"

"I need you to stay late tonight if that's alright. We are low on staff today which I know sounds surprising."

"Yeah, I can stay late." It's not like I have anything better to do.

Sehun nods at me before turning around and leaving the room. When I look back at Suho he has a silly grin on his face making me suspicious.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing, nothing at all." He says as he tries to hide his smile by taking a bite of his sandwich.

"Then why are you so smiley all the sudden?" I glare.

"No reason. I'm just naturally a happy person." He says as his smile grows.

I roll my eyes at him before standing and getting back to work.

Sehun tells me to take six bags of flour to the bakery immediately so I do so, taking two at a time.

I really like going into the bakery, it always smells great and the workers in there are the happiest. Every time I go in there they always have something new they made and want me to test to see if they should sell it or not.

Slowly day turns to night and one by one workers begin to leave. There aren't many people working right now which is weird to me. I usually always run into other workers during the day but I guess less want to work at night.

I find myself down in the basement once again washing bed sheets and towels. I make sure to close the lid to the soap all the way, remembering what happened last time. I purposely want to leave it slightly open hoping the same thing will happen but I know it won't.

"Hey." I hear behind me and immediately know it's Sehun.

"Uh, hey." I say as I turn around.

"What are you doing down here?" He asks.

"Um, doing some laundry,"

"A pretty face like yours shouldn't be locked away down here for no one to see." He says nonchalantly making my face heat up.

Did he just say that I'm good looking or something?

"Uh-"

"You could help pull in some customers. Cute workers will make guests more likely to want to stay here." He continues, look at me with his normal serious look.

"Um- o..ok." I always find myself at a loss for words when I'm around him and I really hate it.

"You are turning red again, Luhan. Are you alright?" He says, once again, one corner of his lips slightly turn up. "Did I make you feel uncomfortable by calling you cute?" He pauses for a minute before licking his pink lips.

"Or did it make you feel something else, somewhere else?" He says taking a step closer to me while my heart races and eyes widen.

"I.. I-" All I can think about is how close he is getting to me and that my heart feels like it's going to beat right out of my chest.

"Because I can stop if you want me to, or..." he says pausing to lick his lips again, I think I'm going to pass out.

"Thanks for staying later, you can go." He says as he takes a step back then turns to leave the room like nothing had happened.

"What the hell?" I say to myself as I lean back against the cupboard trying to process everything that had just happened.

I am officially going insane, why is he doing this to me? Flirting with me then leaving before I can say one word other than "I" or "uh".

It takes me a few minutes to pull myself together before getting my things and leave. I didn't see Sehun at all when I was leaving, even if I would have I wouldn't have been able to talk to him.

When I get home I take my clothes off and put on sweats and a shirt before getting into bed thinking about all the smooth things I could have said but didn't. I swear, I get on my own nerves sometimes, why couldn't I have at least said something other than short two letter words?

Damn it, Luhan.

I stay up for hours unable to fall asleep, I just can't stop replaying what Sehun had said to me in my head. At least tomorrow is my day off, I won't have to worry about waking up early or having an awkward conversation with him. I'll have a day to think about what I can say to be smooth and not so.. Flustered.

The image of Sehun licking his lips while looking me up and down kept me up almost all night. The way his eyes raked down at my body then back up to my eyes, or how his tongue slowly came out of his mouth to wet his lips made me shift uncomfortably all night. Not that I didn't like it but because it keeps making my heart race and pulse quicken. I don't think I have ever thought about someone as much as I have about Sehun.

He confuses me, and I can't tell if I like it or not.
