AN// Late update, hope you like it!! - Meg

"So what's your favorite color?" I say as I begin to run out of questions.

We've probably been in here for an hour already, just asking each other questions now seeming like there are almost none left to ask.

"I don't know, maybe black or white. What about you?"

"I like white a lot." I feel a lot more comfortable around Sehun, I'm actually kind of happy that we got stuck in an elevator together, as crazy as that sounds.

"You really don't like thunder do you?" He says as I flinch while the thunder rumbles loudly.

"Not really.

"Why?" He asks.

"It just reminds me of a bad time I guess," I shrug trying to not remember.

"Do you want to talk about it? It might make you feel better." He says moving closer to me.

"It's a really long story.. I don-"

"You don't have to, it just sometimes helps to talk about things that you keep stored away." He says putting one of his hands on my shoulder in hopes to comfort me.

"I've never actually told anyone about it, I wouldn't even know where to start." I sigh.

"I can keep a secret." He smiles at me.

"Well, when I was around four or five, my mom was out shopping and I was playing in my room. It was raining outside and when it rained I liked to turn off the lights in my room and open the curtains to let the light gray light in.

I remember hearing noises coming from downstairs and got scared so I went to my parents room because there was a small hole in the flooring that went down into the kitchen. When I looked through it I saw two men and they were smashing things and dumping things onto the floor. Then I was picked up and a hand was wrapped around my mouth so I couldn't scream, but it was my father. He put me into their closet and told me to not make a sound no matter what before kissing on the head and shut me inside of it. Uh, a few minutes later he came back in and was thrown on the floor by the men and so on and so fourth he was killed.

I had seen it all, I can remember the sound of the thunder crashing as he laid there on the floor."

Memories of that terrible day flash through my mind, the way his body was just laying there, I had even gone out once the men had left and shook him thinking he was just asleep, but he wasn't.

"I had stopped talking for a long time, and then when I was around nine my mom started dating a man who treated her as well as my father did, and he would play games with me. He asked my mom to marry him and after their wedding we got to see his true side. He started to treat both of us like shit, he beat my mom, and treated me like a slave. I told my mom to get a divorce or to just leave but she wouldn't, she was scared. I left when I was seventeen and went to live with my uncle and he gave me a job at his bar. He didn't like that I left and then started to try and track me down." I feel Sehuns arms softly wrap around me.

"I'm sorry it was probably a more intense story then you were expecting, I can sto-"

"You don't have to, Luhan. Only tell me what you want me to know, I'm not judging you." I can't help the small smile the creeps onto my face by how understanding he is.

"Well, I started drinking, a lot, and I had gone to there house and broke into it and trashed it. They got a video of me doing it, and when my uncle found out he told me to come here and not to go back. I was close with my uncle, he had treated my like his own and I don't think I could ever repay him for what he did for me."

"It must have been really traumatizing for you, I'm sorry that it had to happen to you." He says softly as I lean my head on his shoulder.

We sit in silence under the red light not caring when someone will get us anymore, it's a nice feeling when you have someone that you are comfortable enough to tell them things like this.

Sehun slowly rubs my arm up and down calming my nerves. I never have been one that gets upset easily, it takes a lot to really get me mad but it has only happened once and I plan to never let that happen again.

Less then a second later the door of the elevator begin to open startling the both of us. We both quickly stand up taking a step away from each other.

"Hello ladies, it's nice to see you." Suho jokes.

I don't know if I'm relieved or not about getting out, it was nice getting to know Sehun better and I'm sad it had to come to an end.

"You guys must be starving, you were in there for like seven hours." Suho tells us as we are helped out seeing that the elevator stopped between two different levels.

It didn't feel like it had been nearly that long, but now that he mentioned it I am pretty hungry.

"Mr. Wu said you guys can take the rest of the day off, I kinda wish I would have been stuck in an elevator now." He laughs.

"Thank god, I'm starving." Sehun says as he stretches.

I'm defiantly not wanting to take an elevator down, I actually want to just take the stairs. I haven't done a lot of moving so might as well.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow, I think I'm going to take the stairs." I laugh.

"Why?" Suho asks.

"I was sitting for to long, I need to move around a little." I shrug.

"Yeah, me too, mind if I join you?" Sehun says more as a statement than a question.

AN// Hey, sorry this chapter was so short! It was really intense too, but now you know why Luhan left his old town! Hope you liked it:) -Meg
