Third POV

Roman takes a deep breath to stable himself. He spent all night coming up with ideas for Thomas. He feels lucky that he works with his roommates so he hopes they notice how hard he works. I quickly grab an apple not wanting to upset Patton by not eating. Roman get into his car and starts to drive.

'They view me to be confident maybe even arrogant why am I nervous?' Roman thinks as he starts to present his ideas. "For my first idea we should write a book about a talent show where the character has a hidden talent." 'That idea is so overused. Our book won't get far if they agree to use that idea.' Logan thinks. He clears his brain as Roman continues. "For my second idea we could do a spin off of our popular book series where they show their rooms." 'He's so incompetent. People already know what two of the rooms are. This wouldn't work.' Logan feels his anger rising.

'He's doing so well but I wish he would go quicker I skipped breakfast deodorant sounds so good right now.' Remus quickly gets distracted. Remus looks at Janus who's looking at Janus who's looking at Logan. 'Does Jan-Jan have a crush on the nerd?'Janus looks at Logan's calm exterior. 'He looks calm but his thumb is twitching obviously in anger. I wonder why..'

Virgil was completely lost in thought. He was too busy daydreaming over the real life Disney Prince that he didn't hear that the meeting ended until Logan spoke "It looks like it is time for lunch but Roman I'd like to speak with you in private."

Roman tries not to gulp as he hears those words. See the his logical coworker has starting to get less than kind after his presentations. He held onto hope "Did you like it?" his voice sounded weak to him. "You wouldn't be here if I liked it Roman. Is that what you call work?! Is that you trying for ideas?! Remember you are replaceable. Both Patton and Remus could step in and take your place." "I-I'm sorry!" Roman stutters out as he feels himself grow smaller against his desires. Then he realized. 'I don't have to take this anymore.' As the storyboard artist tries to walk away Logan grabs his wrist. Tightly. "Let-let me go." The grip gets tighter and tears well in Roman's eyes

The grip around his wrist tightens a slap rings out. Tears well in Roman's eyes "Lo-Logan?" He gasps in pain and surprise. "It was only logical. Maybe it wouldn't have happened if you weren't so out there. I truly do apologize that you made me do that." Logan's iron grip loosens enough that Roman pulls away and immediately goes home telling the others that he is sick.

Janus walks out of the meeting room and turns to his associates. "Logan was pretty angry during the meeting." That got everyone's attention. "What do you mean? He looked pretty calm to me." Virgil says confused and a bit worried. "His thumb was twitching and his eyebrow creased whenever Roman finished an idea." Janus carefully explains. "I don't think he's could be in a small amount of trouble." Virgil could sense that it's sarcasm and went to the door to listen in on his crush. He hears a small 'I'm sorry.' From what he thinks is Roman. 'Then a let me go.' Virgil gasps and draws back only in time for Roman to come walking out seeming normal.

"Hey guys sorry I don't feel too good. Mind signing me out?" He quickly asks. "Sure kiddo! I'll make you some soup when I get home. Feel better soon!" Patton hurriedly responses the dad friend gets a nod of acknowledgement before his 'son' bolts off.

Logan soon walks out of the meeting room. "Yo Lo what happened in there? Roman looked like he was glowing today then sick as soon as he finished talking with you." Virgil questions trying to hide his skepticism. "Ah,I simply gave him a couple of critics. Someone has to." Virgil holds back a growl after Logan's poor excuse. "Then why did I hear 'Let me go' and 'I'm sorry.' from Roman in the meeting room?" Virgil carefully questions feigning innocence. "He simply apologized for having over used ideas and I kept him there longer than he wanted." "He's lying." Janus said simply before Remus lashes out. While Patton goes over to Virgil and whispers. "I'll sign you out too. Go to Roman." Virgil doesn't wait to respond before leaving.
