Another song fic! Pre FWSA (you don't need to know the song.) also some of the lyrics are changed to better fit the story and Roman. Or skipped. Angstier than usual again.

Roman gathers up his strength and rises up, the others (minus Remus.) were making a video so Thomas should be in his normal spot and not someplace awkward. "Hey... Thomas. I'll be the jester entertain you to the of..my. ability. When I suffer, more fragility when I answer-" The princely side is cut off "Roman is there a reason why you came?" Logan says a bit confused "Yeah kiddo we're trying to help Thomas with something. Teach him somethings." Patton agrees. "Came here for a reason, stop complaining all have our seasons. " Roman continues "It's not just a joke or a lesson to live through. Every which way and second there's a breakthrough." Roman sounds desperate.
Thomas is shocked he expected to film a video not have Roman telling him all these things. " What's not a joke Ro?" Janus's eyes widen in realization. "I know. I'll explain later.Roman why are you saying these things now?" Roman ignores him " I begged to be tested by goddesses resting their heads upon pillows of all they have learned." "Begged?" Logan questions. "Kiddo please explain what you're saying."
Roman knows if he does he won't be able to finish. Tears sting his eyes but he moves on " I am not to be forgotten." He turns to Logan "Drop your books when I walk in." He goes looks at Virgil and Thomas "Magic talks without talking." Then everyone "Wish I made the most before the coffin." Desperation claws from Roman's throat and tears threaten to spill over. " Was born to be desired. Didn't learn." He looks into Janus's eyes. "Your eyes always on the next score."
Remus rises up frazzled. He goes to open his mouth but a now crying Roman beat him to it. " It was the quiet the downtime to breath in my lungs." the prince is dizzy. He starts to sway. "Cause I'm mortal. Defected by this form." He starts to fall and is caught by Logan before hitting the ground. "Gimme an A plus if I did this thing right." It clicks for Logan. Everything falls into place. "Oh. Oh no." He softly says cradling Roman head. "Tell me you didn't.." "I'm sorry." Is the last thing Roman says.
And for the first time ever. Logan cried..
I didn't mean to kill him. It kinda just happened... Also it took me embarresingly long to write something this short.
