    This takes place after POF. But months afterwards. Too short for my liking. No unsympathetic characters in this one!
    
                          
    Roman POV 
    I break another mirror. I'm lucky the the cuts from it were small. I feel a pull from Thomas. I grab my master list of ideas and rise up into Thomas's living room.
    Thomas: Hi Roman! Are you ready to go over ideas?
    Roman: Indeed I am Thomas. So my first idea is...
    
                          
    Virgil POV 
    I don't really listen to what Princy is saying. After he does one of his dramatic movements a paper falls out of his hand and by my seat on the stairs.
    I pick it up and read it because it might be a video idea.
    
                          
    Ever trying 
    Ever failing
    Ever falling 
    
                          
    Into the depths of despair 
    Into a battle for which I did not prepare
    Into emotions I do not feel 
    
                          
    Lifted on to a small pedestal 
    Only growing smaller
    Can only move a certain way
    Only a few of my options are displayed 
    
                          
    Ever touching 
    Ever smelling
    Ever seeing 
    Ever hearing
    Never feeling
    
                          
    Emotions to uplift me
    Emotions that inspire 
    Emotions that make a life worth living
    
                          
    My insecurities blossom like flowers
    My heart is racing 90 miles an hour
    Mirrors I want to shatter
    My head is swimming 
    Is this a life worth living
    
                          
    Woah. That's not what I expected it to say. 
    
                          
    Roman POV 
    I trail off when I notice Virgil's face. Didn't think my ideas were that bad, 
    Roman:Virgil? What's wrong?
    Virgil: Roman What is this?!
    He flashes the paper. It's the poem. Oh no. Oh no oh no
    Roman: That's nothing and I will talk to you later about it.
    
                          
    Time skip
      Roman: Virgil. Remember that mess last month with Janus.
    Virgil: Yeah...
    Roman:That's from that. I forgot to throw it away and left it on my desk. Then it got swept up with the papers I was using today. An uncommon mistake.
    Virgil: Yeah makes sense.
    Roman: See you later my in-chemically balanced romance!
    I leave and go to my room. As soon as I get there I exhale.
    
                          
    I was always a good actor.
    
                          
    I totally did not write the poem before the oneshot and was going to just publish it on its own. I'm good fahm. 
    And I don't plan on making a part two. How'd you like your first taste of angst and no comfort? Not gonna lie but I always enjoy a happy ending but not everyone gets one.
