I didn't want to write this and the original plot isn't good anyways sorry
Time skip (one day) brought to by me waking up at 5am and falling back asleep
Janus sinks to his room as his mind starts to fully process what happened. He remembers Roman laughing at his name while he was supposed to be helping Thomas. The snake tries not to let doubts or insecurities come to him while he reflects on the video. Guilt wells up in his chest when he realizes what he said was drastic for the situation. And how it could hurt Remus also. Janus goes to Remus's room seeking soft Remus comfort ™️ "Bye Remus..." He tells Remus the events of the video and slightly mutters at the end knowing his past words could hurt the intrusive side. Remus looks a bit hurt then starts to talk
"I'm not mad but I don't think I can help you... you two need to apologize and make out." His usual manner comes out a bit and Janus chuckles weakly before replying "I won't. I'm also not sorry for calling you evil. I did mean it." Hie lies are obvious. "It'll be fine eventually." Remus sighs out. He gets a nod of recognition before Janus walks out.
Time skip one day
The snake lets the doubts leak into his mind for the past 24 hours but is getting fed up with it. He decides that the best course of action is to ask Patton about his name. The fatherly side is in the kitchen making dinner. "Hey Patton?" Deceit tries not to lie. "Janice kiddo hi!! What'd ya need?" He asks excitedly. "How do you spell my name?" Janus asks. "J-a-n-i-c-e why" Patton tilts his head in confusion. "It's spelled J-a-n-u-s. But thanks I need to go. Don't worry about your mistake." Janus quickly leaves leaving s mildly guilty and confused Patton.
Janus knocks on Roman's door. "Roman it's me." He's immediately pulled inside the prince's room which is messy with papers and clothes. They both inhale. "I need to talk to you" they say at the same time.
Time skip two hours brought to you by me having a ton to write
Janus and Roman come to the beginning of an understanding. Roman thought what Patton did and was the reason why he teas3d him about his name the way that he did, surprising Janus of the amount of knowledge he had about Roman gods and goddesses. The hurt of the two's words are still too new and open but the scar will be much fainter when healed.
