Before POF

Is it enough to ask for a family that'll get along? Patton doesn't even expect for a perfect family like he hoped beforehand. It's just that Roman and Janus don't get along, Virgil keeps hissing at Janus and Janus is lying to Virgil, and Logan is getting ignored. 'There needs to be a change.' Patton thinks as he cooks dinner. 'Maybe if Roman was more childlike we'd they'd get along better. Virgil already acts like an amgsty teen and Janus could be the rebellious one if I convince him to join us. I love my kiddos.....maybe if I start slowly introducing childlike things Roman revert successfully.' Patton sighs fondly thinking of his plan and how much his family will improve.

He serves Roman's dinner on a ceramic Mickey Mouse plate. Time to start his plan.

Over the weeks he slowly gets Roman adjusted. Roman has a sippy cup and his Disney plate is now a heat safe plastic. Other things in Roman's room have changed too, his bed has small rails which acts like measuring tool they'll grow as Roman gives in. Patton also made Roman's prince outfit too short and just said that he could shift to fit them. Much more naive Roman complies.

Roman isn't dumb. He's not truly. He knows Patton's angle the role he needs to play. He also knows that Patton will drag Janus into this so he'll have to try and save both of them.

After POF
Roman has a plan. Annoy Janus to go back to the dark sides.
Time skip two weeks
It's getting worse and nothing is working, not even his plan to get Janus to go back to the dark sides wasn't working despite all that Roman. Trudging downstairs he sits at his seat next to Virgil as Patton serves breakfast. Roman greets them with a flourish and a Goodmorning as Janus heads downstairs.

"Greetings snake." He comments and internally smiles when he sees him deflate. 'It didn't work on Virgil but hopefully I can get him out of here...' Patton gasps and puts down the pan. "Kiddo go to the hall. You need a timeout." Roman just groans "I'm thirty one Patton..." The fatherly side just raises an eyebrow as he pours apple juice in a plastic cup and Roman complies pouting. Like a child..

Time skip three weeks
Roman ups how much he acts like a child drastically and Janus looks at him weirdly. 'Maybe this'll work...' Roman thinks bad he notices Janus comes in. "Goodbye Roman. I don't have a question for you." Roman stomps his foot lightly and rolls his eyes "What is it??" The prince asks I'm fake exasperation. "I don't want to know why you're acting so normal." Roman walks over closes the door. "Listen. Patton wants me to act like a child around 7-10. It's easier to go along with it. I don't know what part he wants you to play but I'm trying to get you out before you find out." Roman responds gravely. "I don't understand. I won't ask Patton about your strange behavior during dinner." Roman shakes his head "No. We need to leave now. I don't know what he'll do if he finds out. He won't come after us. Trust me." "Okay, I don't." Janus holds out his hand which Roman takes as he goes to the Dark Sides with Janus.

Eh, this was actually pretty difficult to write. I just needed to get it out of the way. I hope you enjoyed!
