Roman tells Thomas and Janus what's really going on.

Third POV
Roman sinks out. He can't keep the mask on much longer. He starts sobbing. After Janus said that it broke too much. Of course it's not Janus's fault. This was just the breaking point. He hears a knocking. He opens the door. Janus and Thomas.
Roman: Hey guys.
Roman wipes his tears.
Janus: I'm so sorry for lashing out. Its just that you have it all.
Roman: I don't.
Janus: Yes you do! You didn't have to fight to be excepted, the others aren't scared of you. And you have an amazing family!
Thomas: That's true.
Roman: Fine then we'll be the perfect family.
Thomas: Roman what do you mean?
Roman: When you walk away that's when we play.
Turning to Janus Roman says.
Roman: And you don't hear me when I say 'Logan wake up!' 'Patton's with a-
Janus: What do you mean? Patton's not sleeping with anyone else!
Roman: No one ever listens this wallpaper glistens. I don't let you see what goes down in the kitchen.
Thomas: Roman! You need to explain more! I want to help you.
Janus: Me too Roman.
Roman: All it is acting.
Thomas: What do you mean?
Roman: It means: Places! Places! Get in your Places! Act in with a mask! And try to have doll faces.
Thomas looks slightly horrified. This is going on in his mind and he can't control it.
Roman: Everyone thinks that we're perfect. Please don't let them look threw the curtain.
Janus is still not believing Roman.
Janus: You are-
Roman: I smile for the camera. Be a good prince and smile for the camera.
Janus is more confused than ever.
Janus: Well even if you're not perfect. What about Patton?
Roman: I see things that nobody else sees.
Thomas: What do you see?!
Roman:Hey. Look at Logan. You're blinded by his intelligence. When you turn your back he's actually sad. And tries to forget Patton's infidelity.
Thomas's expression looks more grave.
Thomas: Is this true?
Roman: Uh oh! Janus is coming to this mindscape! I go back to acting like plastic.
Janus:Is this why...?
Roman: Because no one ever listens and the wallpaper still glistens. But now you know what goes down in the kitchen.
Janus: Does Virgil know?
Roman: No. I mange to drive him away before he learns the truth.
Thomas: Is there anything I can do?
Roman:No.Only Patton can change what he does. Janus. Stay with Remus in the Darkscape. Please?
Janus:Fine.
Thomas: You don't have to act anymore Roman.
Roman:Thanks Thomas. That helps. I'll naturally get better.
Janus:I guess you can come to the dark mindscape when it gets too much for you.
Roman:I shouldn't have made fun of your name. I'm sorry
Janus: You're not worse than Remus. He subtracted the J from my name for the first week.
Roman: That seems like something that he would do.
