State of Existence
Living in a state of existence only
Doing what's necessary to breathe
With every day that passes
Nothing but pulling all my teeth
Life should be a journey
Exciting never dull
But these days I draw weary
& it overtakes my skull
Losing all my focus
My mind slipping into abyss
Like Titanic it is sinking
I miss my life of bliss
Life only grows harder
Responsibility comes with age
Childhood 'comes maturity
Filling each & every page
I miss the freedom of a baby
Only crying for my needs
Life on a literal silver spoon
& so my age proceeds
From toddler to teenage years
Playing turns to bills
Requirements become us
& we lose all life's good thrills

Random Bits of my Brain
PoetryA collection of my poetry over the last 15 years or so. I am more proud of some works than others, however, all of it is a part of who I am. Organized into categories rather than chronologically.
