The Seasons of Our Relationship
Our relationship bloomed like a flower in spring
Dried up with the heat of the summer
Blew away like a leaf in the autumn
& left me with no one to keep me warm in the winter

Sitting in your car
Watching the sunrise
You were so sweet
You said it was your first time
I still can't believe
What happened then & there
Something so amazing
As our breath filled the air
& you got me glowing now
From the inside out
Everybody's asking me
"What's this all about?"
But if they only knew
How I feel about you
Then they'd see
No more asking me
'Cause they'd see
Sunshine Makes a Desert
There were no April showers
& in May you brought me flowers
But June turned to gloom
because you'll never be my groom
Sunshine only makes a desert
My Knight
One heroic act does not a knight in shining armor make
I know I've got to find a real man
One who loves me for who I truly am
He may not be what I expect
but, I know he'll treat me with respect
I'll find my prince
in a far away land
He'll make me his princess
when I take his hand
