On my Grind
I'ma get on my grind
Making music like it's going out of style
Yea, I'ma spend all my time
So you can listen to it on that dial
Get tatted all over, to cover all my scars
Don't want you to know I'm different, I blend in with all the stars
Smoke that blunt 'til my throat burns
Then still for more my being yearns
Just want my brain to trip & roll
Got love for humanity in my soul
People deserve happiness, love & joy
Yet, to each other we work to destroy
I'ma be nice to everyone
So each & every person can have their own little sun
Bassheads
The music is our backbone, our language, our everything
We speak it to everyone, because every nation can sing
Music is the international language everyone understands
Like laughter, it unifies; together, no brands
Gathered here together
In unison, one whole
Insecurities disappear
All together, one soul
No two are the same
Yet there is no shame
Collected we became
Like matches we start a flame
Girl Crush
I fell for a girl, what people say I don't care
I fell for the skin & the curly brown hair
Her eyes bright like the sea, her lips full & supple
Am I just a friend or could we be a couple?
All I know is what I'm taught
& I'm taught that to love her would be wrong
But, it doesn't feel wrong to think about her in song
I'm proud of her, courageous as she is
I would do anything for her bravery, & to be her Mrs.
Kiss her I want to, anything more would be better
If she asked me I wouldn't hesitate before I let her
I just want to brag about her all the time
Oh how I wish, how I wish she could be mine!
